The data available for psionic telepathy is of the largest quality and largest significance to all of the AVPSI. The simplest explanation for this is that, telepathy is both the first and strongest primary psionic ability that all Altiri naturally develop with age. It goes without saying that the AVPSI had no doubt about the existence, validity, and integrity of the telepathic ability and all of its sub-class abilities; demonstrations were born long before the AVPSI became a scientific entity. Despite this being the most known power of all Altiri, knowledge of external psionic energy waves was severely limited until Herios's leftover work revealed most of its possible tangents.8Please respect copyright.PENANAKjAjT4gruz

The first confirmed and demonstrated case of telepathy occurred only among the Altiri Scions; Altiri, who by default have the passive telepathic trait built in, capable of passively transmitting psionic information to other Altiri with virtually no Cora strain. This power, among a similar sub-class ability known as telepathic memory sharing has long been studied for more than 100,000 years. Despite all that was known, it wasn't until long after the discovery of the Human race where new details regarding telepathy were uncovered, due to the sociological aspect of Cora comparison. Humans, in a sense, did not possess the ability to invoke telepathy by default, and the reasons had much to do with the structure and natural formation of the Human brain, which could send and receive psionic signals, but with a cellular structure only designed for weaker signals.8Please respect copyright.PENANAvWgFj3mgEq
8Please respect copyright.PENANAtE6JD7TXih
One element from this implication concludes that Humans do not and cannot possess the ability to telepathically communicate between each other of the same species. A probably theory of Prodaptivity claims that a majority of the Human race will one day achieve this Altiri minimum for Human-to-Human telepathy, given a few thousand years of further gradual evolution, but this is still only a theory for now. Telepathic connections between Humans and Altiri on the other hand do match the minimal energy requirements due to the effect of psionic load sharing, though this does change the state of such telepathic links, limiting the elements of telepathy in general. However, while the Human brain and mind were capable of this form of alien telepathy, the brain was not trained on how to invoke it by default, also unlike all Altiri. So, there had to be a shortcut method of forcing humans to learn telepathy, in order for Altiri aliens to communicate with Human aliens. This was the specific reason why the psionic purge was developed.8Please respect copyright.PENANAorS3WzIzUU

In modern English languages, the phrase “purge” typically means to wipe, clean, erase, or remove; but among Herios and the AVPSI, the phrase meant the opposite, based on certain terms borrowed from different languages of the past. In short, “purge” means to install, infuse, add, or insert. A psionic purge would therefore be the process in which one strong Scion such as an Altiri would install or purge psionic capabilities or a capacity of subconscious autonomic learning onto the brain of their target using psionic pattern projection (see the purge ability for more details). Eventually, this led to the long-term and still ongoing purge experiments, in which clusters of Altiri would target a single human individual and send a purge signal to them, which over time would forcibly train that target (on a subconscious level) how to use telepathy, with the very first action (following the successful installation) of establishing a telepathic connection between the target and the primary node who sent it.8Please respect copyright.PENANA8s6OLgeo47
8Please respect copyright.PENANAYetWY7ZJv8
Even though it takes a group to send a purge to one Human target, a single primary node is chosen from this group during this purge, and upon completion, only this primary node can link with the target, and vice versa. The reason for this telepathic lock has something to do with an unfortunate side-effect of the purge which isolates and limits the target brain's default psionic signature (for telepathy only) to that primary node. When a human is purged and learns telepathy, not only does this link work between them and Altiri, it only works for the single Altiri who sent them the same purge, despite the ability of telepathy being fully learned. Psionic signatures are unique passive projection sequences of the Cora, unique to every individual soul, and cannot exist in duplication. The purge only trains the brain to lock onto the specific signature belonging to the purge sender, and trying to break free from this exclusivity should be theoretically possible, though yet to be demonstrated.8Please respect copyright.PENANAJ4zTEAYhFx

Upon the very first successful purge experiment and data collected from Experiment #1, the AVPSI quickly learned that humans are still strong enough for telepathic connection if their connection is happening between one human and one Altiri, and a mountain of additional telepathic data was soon to follow. Specific case studies were set up and categorized, amended from individual subject reports related to each subject of ability and its unique classification. The focus into other psionic abilities such as clairvoyance and clairsentience, came long after, as Experiment #1 through Experiment #4 failed to produce any additional data beyond basic hypotheses. Over a long span of time (thousands of years), the additional unknown properties of psionic telepathy became more known.8Please respect copyright.PENANAOo9Gc3Kp2b
8Please respect copyright.PENANAVeTegCMgAs
Of these properties, the very first property of psionic telepathy learned, is the nature in which it can only exist in the form of an active connection between two Scions. Some external popular belief has led many to assume that telepathy is a one-sided deal, that a Scion can read what is on the mind of others unbeknownst to their targets. However, this claim has already been debunked by the AVPSI (See Single-Sided Mind Reading for details).8Please respect copyright.PENANALpKmz2k5Es
8Please respect copyright.PENANAXnBYgDOIsN
The second property to examine was the known presence of psionic energy waves and their involvement in the process of telepathy. The early 'psionic theory' brought up the presence of psionic energy waves, and telepathy was the very first ability that had to sink or swim with these theories. During much of the data collection among the Altiri, a lot was made apparent about the way in which telepathy can occur, such as the two nodes not being affected by distance (range), time dilation (general relativity (via travel)), or any other factors, with one exception. This exception, the one element which affected the projection strength of all Scions - was the immediate spacial presence of thermal energy (the space being a static 1 mile range). It was around this first time the AVPSI made the discovery that heat itself was the ultimate variable which could disable the powers of any Scion quite easily. The later mention of the Cora Sector of the brain was discussed to explain why the psionic waves themselves were not affected. Results revealed that the brain and its ability to project psionic signals held the dependent variables when thermal interference was involved; psionic waves which already left the brain were unaffected. This explanation was accepted since it agreed with the already known properties of the Astral Plane and psionic energy waves.8Please respect copyright.PENANAkn8nxc2DKL

The next property of telepathy was to examine or define what a telepathic connection actually is. While some Altiri seemed capable of telepathically sending each other messages without this connection, the more proven factor revealed that a connection was required, though Altiri could use telepathy in a passive manner, which does not mean they are disconnected. In other words, while exclusive only to Altiri, their version of telepathy may exist in a high energy (active) state, or a low energy (passive) state, details shared being the differing effected factor. The question of possibility still bewildered many, as they had to try and answer how two people from anywhere in the universe could actively engage in the sharing of information from a still unexplained psionic power. The definitions of telepathy from a fully objective and empirical standard are still uncertain to this day. Exactly how one connects and maintains the connection are also unknown factors, which has not changed.8Please respect copyright.PENANAAVdwklifEw

Understanding how telepathy functions is another approach for answers, and there was quite a lot to learn. Much of what the AVPSI concluded about telepathy was only made possible once other lower-level psionic abilities became known to them in the first place. While telepathy was the first demonstrated ability among the Altiri, advanced clairvoyance was the second ability, followed by telepathy-based clairsentience, psionic purging, psionic biolution, and many more discoveries that initially started from the outside world of the AVPSI laboratory. The very first factor to breakdown regarding telepathy examined the sharing of sight between two individuals.8Please respect copyright.PENANAg4UBQnKRMO
8Please respect copyright.PENANAoGfUMo89ka
Clairvoyance is a strange power, one reason being that the user who can see the details of their target does not always see these details through the exact visual perception of their target. Instead, the default view exists in a (near) 360o angular environment around their target, so long as that person has been paying attention to their surroundings. Some of the visual information seen comes from their sight, but also their spacial memory as it is passively projected out subconsciously at the same time. The AVPSI is certain that the same kind of ability is being passively used during a telepathic connection to explain how two individuals can see through each other’s eyes, as if one world overlaps transparently onto the other. However, unlike in standard clairvoyance, telepathy does not view the other person’s senses from the same multi-angular perception, but rather a direct line-of-sight or vision sharing as one may expect prior to studying clairvoyance. Therefore, the visual sharing of senses within telepathy is a different variation of clairvoyance altogether. When two telepaths are seeing through each other’s eyes, the angle, detail, and other information is only that which matches what their physical eyes are actually seeing in that moment. Despite the difference, this still means some version of clairvoyance is involved in the process during the connection.8Please respect copyright.PENANAPYMOyNoH2J

The next break down is clairaudience, in which two telepaths share audio information between each other. Interestingly, in a telepathic connection, there are two different sources for how sound can be picked up by each other. The first is the natural source of the ears and what can be heard between each other. If one telepath hears a car honk beside them during a connection, the other telepath will also hear it with the same intensity and at the same angle and time. However, the brain interprets sound in more than a few ways. If we were to reference back to the idea of thought dynamics, it could help explain how projected thoughts that have audio or vocalization in that thought are also transferred in telepathy. Moreover, the thoughts that can be heard when transmitted this way - have a very slight and quick hint of echo (with little depth). The Scions have reported this mild echo since the beginning of learned telepathy even between Altiri, that the thoughts they can hear are distinguishable from normal sound due to this mild acoustic echo. This means that the brain can accumulate its own audio data based on the imagination, memory, or other source, and transmit this for the other telepath to hear during a connection. Tests to determine the limits of this were done, such as the example in which one telepath imagined the noises of various animals and projected those thoughts strongly. The result had the other telepath node hearing each sound perfectly with no distortion or difference. So, it is possible to share sounds from the body and the mind in this type of ability.8Please respect copyright.PENANAbSwKZPXrUl

The next sense of sharing would be the taste of food and drinks between two telepaths. Part of this falls under Type A Clairsentience, but with emphasis in this case put on the taste of food, as humans have made a big deal out of taste being one of their important basic senses. The tests resulted in the expected; both telepaths were clearly capable of experiencing the taste of each other’s food even when only just one of them was eating.8Please respect copyright.PENANAJ4s3uJCBrq
8Please respect copyright.PENANAdw58VVLC0x
Next came the possibility of the sharing of smell. Interestingly, this test, even as it was conducted in many ways resulted in something less expected. In theory, telepathy should be capable of transmitting smells between each telepath flawlessly. Even with the findings in the reports, Scryers claim there is some other reason why none of the telepaths have been able to share their sense of smell with each other. In every tested project, the sense of smell never seemed to transmit or carry over. Continued reports of the same, whether between only Altiri or between one Altiri and their purged subject, solidified the possibility that the sense of smell cannot be telepathically transferred. Even though it was known to the AVPSI that the sharing of unique sensations in one individual to another individual incapable of experiencing such sensations on their own wasn't possible; if one Altiri had an organ that a Human did not, no element of which would be telepathically relevant. Despite this fact, sense of smell could not be shared even between other Altiri either. The leading theory for this is that smells are based on a mixture of hormonal and pheromone-based sensory inputs, and as such, do not transmit, as they are an indirect sense uniquely set between all individuals. As such, sense of smell is an incompatible variable in either Type A or Type B clairsentience, be it natural clairsentience or telepathy-regulated clairsentience.8Please respect copyright.PENANAbK7hHzKop1
8Please respect copyright.PENANADek12bti2W
Still, Type A and Type B Clairsentience were also evident within telepathic connections. Those connected could easily feel any physical pain when only dealt to one of the two individuals. This wasn't unique only to pain, but any physical sense as well. Just rubbing one’s own arm would elicit that sensation and reaction from the other no matter how separated the two nodes were. As for the sharing of emotions, this too was easy for the telepaths connected to each other, and was later part of the explanation regarding the elements of emotion and thought dynamics. Because projected thoughts and projected emotions can be passively transmitted by anyone (the projected items separate or merged), it was no surprise that each telepath could sense each other’s very personalities over time. The AVPSI and Scions alike quickly realized (for those who have not already) - that telepathic connections were incredibly intimate methods of communication, because there was little if any chance to lie to or hide anything from the other. Of course, it was also discovered in the same instance that hormonal feelings never transferred between two telepaths, suggesting that these feelings were not of an emotional tree. The AVPSI still is not entirely clear on which classification of sensations and feelings differentiate between actual emotions and hormonal feelings. The important takeaway is that, hormonal sensations, including general arousal is never telepathically relevant, nor do these sensations play any role through thought dynamics.8Please respect copyright.PENANA3FZLBrbokB

Something else became known in later research regarding the telepathic connection between two Scions. On its own, projecting the full power needed to act as a telepath uses up a great level of energy even for an Altiri, which begs the question why none of them tire out with full-day passive connections between each other. Further examination revealed that when connected, each telepath was somehow capable of sharing their overall psionic energy with each other; which in a complicated (understudied) manner converts back to bio-physical energy. When connected, two telepaths are actually straining their Cora Sector only by a fraction of what they normally would be prior to this connection, though the preliminary phase of starting that connection causes a full strain and cost of that energy. Somehow, two connected telepaths are able to share the load and burden of what should be a passive energy drain (proportionately measuring back to their dehydration rates). How this is done is not known to the AVPSI, but there is evidence to support that this has always been the case. The effects of this load sharing can vary too. The load sharing integrity level seems to multiply (upwards meaning less energy is lost) when the connection strength is stronger, or worsen (more energy is lost) when the connection strength is weaker. In a strong telepathic connection, the psionic strain to both individuals is essentially unnoticeable, at least until the connection is broken.8Please respect copyright.PENANAn8NuTvgt50
8Please respect copyright.PENANAIrUdOzUKiI
However, poor or less-than-average connection strengths are not really observed in Altiri. So, the AVPSI set their sights on the purged experiments for more data about this, being the bane of information since the purges literally teaches each subject how to use telepathy towards an Altiri. Strangely enough, all Altiri with the capacity for telepathy can effortlessly communicate with another Altiri, so long as they too have the capacity for telepathy. When it comes to the target of an Altiri being a human however, that human must know telepathy in the first place, and even after a purge to set the conditions right, the methods of communication are anything but effortless. The takeaway about human physiology versus Altiri physiology is that ~ while both have functional Cora Sectors, humans are greatly weaker Scions by default than Altiri, and this is after the human is purged. With this insight, the AVPSI knew that data regarding different properties of telepathy with stronger variance to signal strength could be obtained this way. They had 25 experiments over time, which translated to 23 opportunities to look into this (2 purges failed).8Please respect copyright.PENANAagg5h9KJeg
8Please respect copyright.PENANAIdTrFsdm6q
Because of the nature in which humans have lower psionic aptitude levels by default (even post-purge), this meant that the variables of telepathic signal strength were added to the spotlight of future research projects in the general scope of telepathy for all Scryers. There was never such variables prior to the purge experiments, since the psionic load between two Altiri was always in a ratio of 1:1, where the same ratio did not apply between an Altiri and a Human. With this sudden difference to examine, the strength or psionic integrity of each telepathic connection could be examined more thoroughly when variance occurs.8Please respect copyright.PENANANxVkzBlhfi
8Please respect copyright.PENANAFEc0xn0m3R
The very first noticeable difference was the manner in which each node could sense or detect psionic transmissions made with both the power and the signature that indicated such a signal - to be an attempt of establishing contact telepathically. Altiri have no problem passively detecting these signals when they are performed properly, but Humans are incapable of detecting these initial signals. Telepathy is not established by the will of the person; there is a complicated internal process involved when sending this initial signal to the other node prior to a telepathic connection. The psionic transmission is combined with thoughts and emotions about that individual node, as well as a trained sense only determined after the purge (and dedicated to memory whether understood or not), amplified by that sending node’s emotional integrity, and finally, the strength of their projection combined with the specific and unique psionic signature. This is part of what the Altiri sense when an attempt at connection to them is made. When detected, the Altiri perform the same process while merging that psionic signature to their own, which starts the connection. Afterwards, they carefully maintain focus on this twin-energy signature to stabilize the connection. Once stabilized, the connection is fully established and the transmission of information can begin. However, if the Altiri were to send this initial signal to their purged node, that human would fail every time to sense it. This essentially means that between an Altiri and their purged experiment Human, the call to establish the connection can only always come from the human. It is up to that human to make contact with the stronger node. This difference in detected psionic signatures is the first big point of relevance in telepathic variations when collecting data for the Scions. That said, the AVPSI currently has no means to look any further into this exact process.8Please respect copyright.PENANA9rCLOPBlNa
8Please respect copyright.PENANABTEUV1w078
A second factor of variance in Human to Altiri telepathy is the aspect of signal strength. Typically, the only thing that should affect psionic projection levels are heat and thermal energy nearby either node. However, when looking into each report of the purged experiments, the amount of factors that interfered with this in the humans was much more troublesome. While heat was still the strongest influence, factors such as mental distractions (either from an out of control overactive mind or a sufficient amount of pain), insufficient energy (via bio-physical, hydration, or mental clarity), and psionic atrophy could also hinder that human’s ability to project with the amount of strength they should be used to. These aspects usually affected the success rate of that human’s projections reaching the Altiri for a connection - more so than the ongoing connection itself. Because the nodes share an amount of energy and load during stabilized telepathy, it actually becomes harder to establish a connection than it would be to maintain an existing one.8Please respect copyright.PENANA3Iq9Hect7v
8Please respect copyright.PENANA8YPjZRDPMz
Signal strength from this perspective can be affected by several factors other than heat, and so the variance in signal strength for the AVPSI to study was frequently present. Even with a strong signal, the telepathy between a human and an Altiri is still limited - since by default - one node is always stronger than the other. So, what does telepathy look like under all of these possible circumstances? All of these circumstances have already been observed and recorded, but each one shall be described here using random examples based on realistic data. In each example, the variable that will change is the signal strength or psionic integrity of each connection between the Human and the Altiri following a successful connection.8Please respect copyright.PENANAHdYzOWrCok
8Please respect copyright.PENANAcFb5uvGDJV
The first example will start off with the weakest possible psionic connection, grade F. Under a grade F connection, the psionic integrity of this connection is so poor, that both the weaker node (Human) and stronger node (Altiri) constantly struggle to keep the connection alive. If either node collects too much physical and/or mental fatigue, or if the connection becomes weaker than it is for any reason, the telepathic connection between both nodes will automatically break, ending the link. While functional, the only reliable sense each node can use to communicate is sound. When trying to visually see through the eyes of each other, strong visual snow or static blocks out the details too much to make out any fine details. Even when speaking openly or projecting thoughts to “talk” to each other, both nodes have a difficult time hearing each other. Instead of random sound cut-outs, the noise is instead meant to sound distant, as if two people were speaking to each other from far away with a low-pass muffled filter to their voice. It goes without saying that any physical sense or emotional wave from clairsentience is also not capable of being transmitted in any method. Even with strong enough emotion, both nodes in a grade F connection can only hear each other’s projected thoughts of sounds or nearby physical noise. As for the energy load in the connection, since the connection is weak, both nodes will constantly be struggling to maintain the integrity of this connection to keep it alive, and will therefore be using a tremendous amount of psionic energy proportionate to that of their maximum level of potential. This means that the stronger node will be using a lot more of their energy in the process to sustain themselves, though the overall strain felt by them and the human are roughly the same due to the proportionate difference in what each of them can handle at a maximum. This kind of connection can be maintained on this level without any changes for about 30 minutes or less. Additionally, the rapid drain and dehydration especially to the weaker node can become very dangerous to their health. The moment the connection is stopped (especially if that connection was maintained even longer), the shared load of the energy drain will also stop between both nodes, causing an unseen kind of mental and physical exhaustion, which will suddenly catch up to both of them. If either node is not properly hydrated when this happens, they can easily pass out and go unconscious, potentially leading to a coma or even death. If the node does not pass out, they will be exhausted and visibly strained for quite some time, enough to temporarily suppress their entire Cora Sector from making any strong projections until recovery. The estimated minimal temperature for this environment to occur is about 61-62oF, with the cut-off point being 64-65oF. Beyond this temperature, telepathy even among Altiri is not possible.8Please respect copyright.PENANAPbVdtklfRz
8Please respect copyright.PENANAqEL7fm36fK
Under a Grade E connection, the circumstances are mostly similar, with a lower effect to energy drain due to the slightly increased potential of sharing the load of that psionic connection. In a Grade E connection pertaining to the senses, the most noticeable difference is that noise and speech (including projected audio-thoughts) are no longer distant and muffled. Visual details shared are still cluttered with strong visual snow, but this effect gradually goes away if the connection gradually improves in strength. Under this connection, the stronger node can better see what the human can, though still with some loss to the details. It is worth mentioning at this point that the weaker node in these connections cannot actually see through the eyes of their stronger node whatsoever, unless the strength of that connection is at a minimal of Grade C. The reason for this is presumed to be that the human is a weaker Scion, and cannot so easily access all of the shared senses. The estimated minimal requirement of temperature for this environment to occur is about 58oF.8Please respect copyright.PENANAMB95O8gUIR
8Please respect copyright.PENANAt1JWdvtEjZ
Under the Grade D connection, there is no longer any impairment to the vision seen by the stronger node, or to any sense of sound. The connection strength allows each node to relax easier in terms of how much passive concentration will be needed to maintain this connection, while the energy sharing load is also average. The connection strength in this situation is considered neutral; not strong or weak. Under these settings, Type A clairsentience data (physical sensations) can be shared between each other, but not so much with Type B clairsentient sensations (emotional dynamics). With a good sense of sight and sound however, there is a lot more potential for ways each node can pass the time during their connection. If the connection strength remains at this power for the entire connection, any good human node should be fully capable of sustaining the link all day long, though with noticeable strain to them afterwards, briefly after disconnecting. Even before this happens, the human subject is likely to become tired at an earlier hour of the day than what they are used to. The estimated minimal temperature for this environment to occur is about 52oF.8Please respect copyright.PENANAdcT2QEgnbc

Under Grade C connections, the weaker node finally has a chance to see through the eyes of their stronger node. In addition, Type B clairsentient emotions become easier to transmit, and the extra Altiri ability of three-way telepathy splitting becomes possible (though only for a very short time). The sharing of taste also become possible to both nodes, as it was not prior to having this much strength. Grade C connections are better than average strength, though still have their limits. The success rate of sharing emotions in Type B clairsentient methods of telepathy is still not 100%, nor is the chance that the weaker node will be capable of seeing through the eyes of the stronger node. The energy sharing load between each node in this kind of connection is laid back and relaxed, while a gradual energy drain between both subjects is never casually noticed. Under the right circumstances and training, the Altiri can also by this point engage in a successful invocation of telepathic phasing (see telepathic phasing ability for more details). The estimated minimal temperature for this environment to occur is about 44oF.8Please respect copyright.PENANAD1CZY3QY18
8Please respect copyright.PENANAPlA0Dayd3v
Under Grade B connections, (which are considered strong) the sharing of all senses becomes easy and automatic, which includes the passive sharing of all emotions. This also opens up the other hidden abilities of telepathy only usable by the Altiri, including the possibility of Mental Synch by both nodes. While increasing the strength of the connection from here does not offer any particular benefit to each other’s capability, it does oddly enough enact a small level of euphoria within the weaker node. When the connection is strong enough, the human node always has a higher chance of being happier even without any particular reason to feel so, as if the connection itself has some kind of positive effect on the mind. Other than this, the strength of each shared sense is also greatly improved, though not beyond Grade B. This means that the vision shared between each other comes through crystal clear, more than any would consider default. The physical sensations shared between each other are more defined and intense, and the ability between each node to sense ‘each other’s presence’ via telepathy is also improved. The stronger the connection gets, the closer the properties of their telepathy mimic that between two Altiri. The estimated minimal temperature for this environment to occur is about 22oF.8Please respect copyright.PENANAEgi4gz3BtO
8Please respect copyright.PENANAL2P2ZO9Kvr
Under Grade A connections, (considered vigorous) it actually becomes possible for each node to share detailed visual images of memories between each other. It’s more accurate to say that they could be memories or scenes conjured by the imagination; either will transfer. Projected thoughts combined with sound and emotion have not been known to have visual imagery attached. However, when the connection is strong enough, or is shared between two Altiri, this becomes possible. The visual sharing of this kind of information is still difficult to pull off and too often unreliable. In addition to this, Mental Synch becomes far more likely to occur between both individuals. Emotions that get shared are so easily detected that no active effort is needed to pick up on even the slightest feeling between each other. Because the load of energy is so easily maintained by both nodes, there is actually a slight increase in potential psionic energy (and reduction of mutual fatigue) for the duration of the connection, at least up to a threshold. The estimated minimal temperature for this environment to occur is about 7oF.8Please respect copyright.PENANAv4OsGlDYhp
8Please respect copyright.PENANAMnJ8TGqZXk
Under Grade S connections, (perfect connections) predictions about each other’s own behavior into the near future are sometimes made at random. The euphoric feeling becomes stronger, so long as the weaker node is not in too much discomfort given the extremely low temperature environment. The energy load is so perfect between each node, that the connections may increase the maximum time for the human node to remain alert before their expected default time of general sleepiness, though only by up to an hour or two. Less is known about the total differences between Grade S and Grade A since there are less opportunities in nature to study the effects. It is predicted that during this connection, any latent psionic abilities that the human node is capable of learning might start firing off or developing its own; however, these are just rumors for the time being. The estimated minimal temperature for this environment to occur is about -26oF and below. It is also worth noting that with regards to temperature effects on telepathic signal strengths, these ranges and values are different when examining telepathy between two Altiri. Their maximum signal strength is maintained at any temperature below 44oF, though is still totally cut off at around 63oF.8Please respect copyright.PENANAQmf8zy7Rvm

The overall signal strength of a psionic connection can easily and quickly vary by many factors, and so the full effects of multiple changes are expected to be slightly different for each scenario. There are still other interesting factors that are less understood by the Altiri and the AVPSI regarding telepathic connections between Altiri and humans. For example, one particular rule is that when a telepathic connection between both nodes is cut off, (either on purpose or because the connection strength falls below its minimum requirements to be maintained), the human node must wait about 1 hour before their next attempt to connect to their associated Altiri can be successful. That human under all circumstances must also have been awake for about 45 minutes from the time of their initial wakeup to be capable of projecting strongly enough to send the initial signal and establish a telepathic connection. If a connection is broken and the 1 hour rule has passed, and then the connection is made and broken again within the same day, the next time until another attempt can be made is more than 1 hour, and much more after the third attempt when all is done in the same day. Similarly, in relation to telepathic phasing, if a connection is phased in and out three times in the same connection, then the integrity of that connection will fall to zero, and one hour will need to pass again before another connection can be made. With that continuing in the same day, the 1 hour can quickly turn into 18 hours in a steep exponential climb with a certain equation. These little rules about telepathy are natural effects of connections and disconnections that the AVPSI does not fully understand, and neither do the Scryers.8Please respect copyright.PENANAMlw0oGuEl6
8Please respect copyright.PENANAKbUZHxfoEP
Based on all of these properties of telepathy, the AVPSI and other researchers still have a long way to go before fully understanding every aspect of telepathy. Since telepathy is such a complex ability that is theorized to have everything to do with psionic energy (and subsequently the astral plane), many predict that obtaining a full understanding of this power may also help uncover any hidden truths about the astral world as well. In regards to the purge experiment, the situation regarding their involvement with the AVPSI stems from their purge in the first place. Having access to telepathy means they have access to what is on the minds of the Altiri they communicate with, and vice versa. Naturally, the Royal Scryers had to consider the possibility that any one of these humans could leak (on accident or intentionally) any or all of information either about the ongoing study of psionics or the truth about the AVPSI itself. However, the approach to this situation requires a lot of trust in various aspects to the importance of research classification. For one, the likelihood of anyone else in the world believing this human about any related claim will be effectively low, due to the nature of the research itself, and the fact that all information to date on the matter is not published to the public. If they make extraordinary claims without evidence, they will not easily be taken seriously. Thanks to the complicated nature of Human-to-Altiri telepathy, even this ability itself is nearly impossible to prove to the outside, since the Altiri are physically located far outside the space that Human subjects are. With a stronger push to release most of this data in empirical formats, Royal Scryers have taken the liberty to redact any personal information to an alternate copy of the full Psionic Report, which included tactics such as assigning pseudonyms to any and all examples, proper nouns, and direct reports on the purged subjects and related links.8Please respect copyright.PENANAAGdJu8tW3l

Telepathy will always be an interesting subject even for discussion purposes among the AVPSI and anyone connected to its knowledge base, mainly because so much about real telepathy in this state is known to have the capability to debunk anyone who is not a real telepath in the wild, but also because there is still so much more progress to be made. The data specific to this report on telepathy easily draws comparisons of the energy requirements needed to execute different psionic abilities (at least the kind that are noticed in telepathy). Many within the AVPSI question the overall ethical nature of this long-term purge experiment (that is the experiment itself in which humans are purged over time). Though it is too late to turn back, the total net worth of these purges on a personal level falls to the perception of the human who gets purged in the first place. In the case of SM and Experiment #24, as well as four other experimentation groups, the fallout from these experiments have been deemed positive overall in the subject reports. Due to the nature of automatic psionic atrophy in terms of telepathy, any purged individual who chooses not to engage in their own powers for a total time of eight to nine months will permanently lose their ability; therefore, this chosen human is always given the proper choice of whether to continue communication with their Altiri node, or whether to sever communications permanently (Voluntary Rejection). The Altiri who take part in the purge including the support of the required psionic amplification will permanently lose their ability to purge ever again, and so if they send one at all, their lives change forever too. Then there is also the theory of prodaptivity, (sometimes referred to as psionic adaption), which states that over the next 2,000-10,000 years, there may be an increase in the probability of an ordinary human being born with full natural telepathic powers, no matter how limited. While it is just a theory, it seems to indicate that many in the AVPSI want more people in the world to suddenly wake up with psionic powers rather than having to rely on purges, which have their downsides.
