Intro

This has been mentioned before in this document; a high margin (33%) of all information related to “subject reports” that were made (knowingly or unknowingly) by all possible subjects that fall under the purge experiment come from Experiment #24. For reasons mentioned later in this section, #24 attracted the highest level attention for a duration of time among all of the Scions, Scryers, and other personnel of the AVPSI when and after he was purged due to the circumstances in which SM10 was involved in, and with additional variables. As a result, this specific subject report will be lengthy and include all possible reports that involve or surround this subject, focused on any unique situation that may not have happened with any other subjects. While a new purge experiment has been registered (#25) in (2021), no current data on this subject exists at this time. However, all possible acquisition of data on other experiments is not easily obtainable to medium or high ranking scions of the AVPSI, (rather the highest royal scryers). The first part of this report is the incident involved with SM10 when the Altiri aggressor Group (Cy-Stars) purged #24 without prior permission from LQQ, something which had never happened before within the AVPSI. But there were other special circumstances involving this purge, like how the subject in question was a male teenager as opposed to being a female subject. One core rule for purging within the Altiri is that only the purges of females are permitted. Because of this, all other 24 experiments (#1-23 and #25) have all been female. The core reason is not relevant to this report, so it shall be excluded, but there are other factors that support this decision as well. For one example, some information about psionic aptitude reports have been studied among what was collected from the Scryers’ early report from before the first purge during a massive collection of data using long-term psionic scanning of the entire scanable populous. According to that report, about 49% of the entire population scanned were potential scions. But of that 49%, 72% were female while the other 28% were male (both these values were already adjusted to exclude the ten percent mentioned in the psionic scanning report). This suggests that for whatever reason, females have a slightly higher potential range or intensity level for psionic abilities. Some Scryers refer back to the important role that emotions play into psionic potentials and credit this to be the most likely reason.

For the universal sake of translation in later time periods, the man referred here as LG became a horrible enemy to the Altiri. From personal reference, SM10 all had their mothers slaughtered by LG, and as a result, grew to hate any male who fit LG’s personality traits (which in translation equates mostly to the varieties and principles of intense masculinity), classified in reference to all Altiri as “heathens.” The notation here is to highlight why SM0 became attached to #24 and ignored this problem. SM0 claimed and convinced others nearby that her target of the purge excluded these personality traits in rarity. Many of the Royal Scryers were aptly upset from what had occurred, and did not believe this purge was for the best. Given the nature of how potent psionic energy collections are easily detected by other Altiri, the moment the purge was accumulated and sent off, every person in the zone knew or had a good idea of what had happened. The initial hostility between LQQ and SM10 for not having permission to send a purge having provided no data on any candidates made it obvious to everyone else that SM10 was not given permission to perform their actions, a group that had - up until this point remained as obedient as ever. Despite how much effort was put into classifying these separated reports and documents, it becomes harder to hide information when the subject matter was suddenly made popular in that organization. A high number of the general Altiri public knows some details about this specific purge as a result of having avoided proper purging procedure, and as such, far more private information about #24 exists and is collected by the Royal Scryers (another reason why this segment will be lengthy). However, both the primary node of the Cy-Stars and experiment #24 will be referred to as SM and #24, respectively.

Phase 1 & Phase 5

While location data and personal data are fully redacted in this report, the exact date and time is not. The moment that the purge impulse was recorded to have reached and effect the selected target was on August 11, 2009, at around 05:30. As for what this initial moment would have actually done and felt like to the subject, information on this would be scarce for the entire duration of the purge process. It was not until after the completion of the purge as well as this exact discussion between #24 and SM when the details of the sensation about this purge made its way to the AVPSI during a quarterly meeting required for Altiri aggressor groups to LQQ and her subordinates. The information from #24’s perspective spoken to SM was requested to be delivered to LQQ in these meetings, which actually happens for all Altiri aggressor groups who have a purged experiment in progress. Starting with the reason behind interest in this small detail of this subject report, the ability known as lucid dreaming is of high interest to the AVPSI, due to the reason in which the ability is still under heavy investigation, and has yet to be proven or disproven. Based on #24’s recollection of events as told to SM, on only day three of the purge, he recalled a strange and vivid dream involving a particular individual who he claims he has never seen before, only to meet the same individual in real life later the same day (this particular dream was not lucid). SM remained skeptical of this situation, attributing the possibility that the subject had seen this person before in real life before accurately dreaming about them. While #24 was more certain that the effect of the purge played a role, the true cause of this dream remains unknown to date. One interesting citation reminded about the purge and psionics is that clairvoyance comes in many different forms when the effective level of clairvoyance is reduced. SM wonders if it may have been possible for the purge to have “unlocked” a tiny usable portion of clairvoyance on that specific day, allowing #24 to ascertain details of this classmate prior to having this kind of dream in the first place (under pure subconscious awareness). Phase 4 of the purge refers to specific abilities either unlocked or made usable only as a result of this purge. Though it happened to #24 multiple times right around the ending period of this purge, #24 reported repeated moments of lucid dreams which related to SM and her sisters (which was a known part of the merging phases of all purges). In later instances of time, #24 experienced lucid dreaming more than once, becoming fully in control of his own thoughts and actions, though not of the dream detail itself; which was instead controlled by the subconscious mind while still asleep, and in these (four instances) heavily influenced by the active purge. Lucid dreams as well as regular dreams are a means by which phase 5 (the information dumping phase) of the purge interacts with the subject’s mind. Most of all the details regarding psionic powers, Altiri, personal information on the primary node, and other related details are taught in the form of dream to the subject (among other methods). But since #24 explained that this happened with both regular dreams and lucid dreams, SM pressed for more details about what it was like to be in a lucid dream, which was later reported to the AVPSI and mixed in with statistical data for the report on Lucid Dreaming. As for a continuation on the principles of lucid dreaming, #24 also reported a brief period (lasting for about 1 month) occurring several months after the completion of the purge in which lucid dreams (in his case lucid nightmares) occurred. Much of this data was simply another footnote. However, it further supported the idea that while lucid dreams are caused by purges, they can occur within normal people without purges too, or in those who are no longer affected by an active purge. #24 was distressed for this period, as the primary antagonist of a chain of nightmares haunted him with the untested possibility of having him be killed while in a lucid state as mentioned by this antagonist. Luckily, people cannot die in the real world from being killed in their dreams, and the nightmares ended not too long after. Definitions: Phase 5 of the psionic purge is the information phase; phase five increases the concentration and rate at which information is transferred from the elements of the purge to the subject's brain. The purge signal contains personalized sensory-based data packets, which unpack through sensory shift or sensory recursion.

Lingering Femininity

Phase 3 of the purge introduces and eventually overrides the feelings, behaviors, personality traits, and expected emotions of the primary node onto the purged subject. If there were any unexpected factors for this purge onto #24 that were not present in any prior experiment, it would have been the fact that #24 was a boy, while SM, the primary node of this experiment was an adult female. SM herself was not openly feminine in her own personality, at least not to a high or obvious level, but she did have a strong hatred for “heathens” ~ a label given to men who behave or too strongly embrace masculine mannerisms. As an unexpected consequence of this gender difference, #24 changed behaviors about a month into the purge, behaving more feminine-like and adamantly avoiding any and all possible contact with any male who might seem masculine. While #24 had no way of understanding the origin of these feelings, they were mostly there because of two reasons. SM’s gradual emotions and hatred for heathens made its way directly into the purge signal as a complex emotional data packet. The other reason was that - by associating with female groups more often, #24 gradually absorbed some of their behaviors as well. However, the primary motivation on this still remained set to the focal point of hating men with a solid burning passion. #24 was not shy about expressing any amount of discrimination against the male gender. Interestingly enough, this created a whirlpool of social situations for him which deviated from normal school experiences. When the purge ended, #24 learned from SM that the purge itself was a responsible explanation for the differed behavior. As a result, #24 swiftly questioned SM for the reason why she was so hateful of men. The conversation soon became a heated argument between the two, since #24 did not easily condone the association from a mass murderer to that of an everyday boy. However, with enough compelling evidence and emotion put into her personal story, #24 was convinced within the same day with some addition assistance to demonstrations that 99% of all men were pure evil. Down to the point, a shared hatred of heathens now existed between SM10 and #24 included. It is believed that this hatred, (now sparked out of genuine emotion instead of forced emotion) may be the reason why #24’s feminine behaviors persisted for 2 years after the completion of the purge, though the reason is not too clear. It is already known from prior experiments that certain behavior patterns and feelings that come from phase three of the purge can persist months or even years after the purge has ended in that individual. For #24, his behavior to be as feminine as possible remained, gradually dialing down for the next two years on its own. Additionally, his personal hatred for men also dialed down with the complex maturity and unique analysis of various situations, which seemed to have affected SM as well. Overall, the AVPSI was interested to learn that a male who is purged by a female is likely to inherit this level of behavior from their primary node when it comes from the opposite gender, and some thought-experiments were created from this report.

During an active purge cycle, the target node of this purge may experience many unusual phenomena. Part of the reason is that phases two-five cycle on and off randomly (non-sequentially), and variably together (simultaneously). As one Scryer stated, "Phase six of the purge, or alternate ability phase, usually focuses on more dramatic alterations in immediate perception, caused by many phases of the purge being active simultaneously. Along with this may come with a phenomena of potent memory sharing. In such an event, the human would abruptly inherit some or all of the more recent direct memories of the primary node who purged them." There were just as many unintentional negative consequences to being purged that Experiment #24 had to endure. One of the beginning traits that was observed in #24 by SM initially (when #24 was in grade school) was his sharp attention to logistical data, math, and numbers. While the scope for Autism Spectrum Disorder determined there was no positive result of autism, it was later discovered that #24 was to be diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder. Because of this, the sheer amount of parallel thought processes occurring in #24 throughout his entire life has always been elevated above normal. However, when it came down to the purge, the effects on the brain were unseen compared to any other purge before this. It was thought that the purge would have no effect on strange disorders such as ADD or ADHD, but in the case of #24, the ADD actually accelerated (meaning it grew stronger; more thought processes could occur than previous determined). With accelerated ADD, this eventually led to the negative development of UAD in #24. Further down the timeline, in summary, it also (when combined with #24’s intelligence) was possible for #24 to begin controlling his own accelerated ADD using creative hobbies as an outlet means for major control, and practice for minor controls. In short, #24 developed accelerated ADD as a result of what is likely the purge, but later learned to control all of his parallel thoughts, which overall led to a more enriching mental aptitude and intelligence capacity for #24, including an unstudied phenomena of memory bursts and additional effects. With what was learned from the UAD, the AVPSI had no choice but to carefully document the potential dangers of purging an individual who either has ADHD or ADD, since there may be effects on psychological conditions. Because of this, other more extreme psychological profiles were also examined later by the AVPSI to further highlight the fact that the purge can have an endless amount of potential negative side effects that all differ from person to person. UAD: This personal and conditional psychological ailment was only found with #24, self-diagnosed, (as no doctor could put a name to the condition), and caused problems for #24. Uncontrollable Aggression and Debilitation was the meaning behind the acronym, and while this leaves a very broad trace for what the ailment is, UAD became a very popular term spoken between SM and #24. In short, when the conditions of UAD are triggered within #24, a high level of potent aggression starts to build quickly over time, particular linked to a failure in putting his numerous thought processes to any good enough use. Once built, this anger then becomes uncontrollable, inciting a psychological rage which has no means of personal escape, and can become quite dangerous. Shortly after this state, the debilitation stage kicks in, leaving #24 partially paralyzed and in a pain that washes over the entire body like gravity. The reason that UAD is listed in this specific section of this report, is because, without withstanding enough empirical evidence, both #24 and SM believe that UAD was a mental development that was caused by the accelerated ADD, which was also thought to be caused by the purge. SM leaves a footnote about these UAD attacks, particular to mention that #24 reports a severe reduction of mental activity in his own mind shortly after the debilitation phase wears off. It is but a small piece of the circumstantial puzzle suggestion that the purge triggered a chain reaction of mechanisms that led to this UAD phenomena. In addition, UAD activity has sharply fallen in more recent years.

Cora Failure

The most dangerous period for #24 was a single short moment of Cora functionality failure during a strained telepathic link to SM. This incident nearly took his life and could have permanently strained his psionic core (the Cora sector of the brain). It took a rather long time for the AVPSI and its Scions to learn that excessive use of psionic abilities with higher psionic load potential on that user can stress the Cora Sector badly enough to disrupt other neurological processes in the brain, leading to excessive fatigue, psionic atrophy, fainting, permanent loss of consciousness (coma), or even death if the load and drain are both excessive enough. As it was mentioned in the reports about the properties of a purge, one Altiri Scion, Aldriah, actually died from trying to send a purge without assistance from anyone, unaware of her situation soon enough due to the 10 second delay factor involved in feeling psionic-related fatigues. The amount of load that is dangerous for a person depends mainly on their maximum potential capacity for psionic energy handling. Since the structural difference here between an Altiri Scion and a Human Scion is vastly different, this too must be considered constantly when conducting purge experiments even after the purge is completed. Humans can handle a lot less, psionically speaking, but at the same time, they can only put themself in a situation of high psionic load if they can invoke an ability which costs this in the first place. Trying to use an ability that isn't known to the person won't generate any psionic load. Random static projection can drain a Scion, but that Scion must know how to do this as well. The problem is, telepathy opens the door for shifting psionic loads within a shared psionic energy pool. Despite what was deemed impossible in the last paragraph, telepathy changes these rules in a unique link between an Altiri and a Human. Psionic load must first be defined for any who have yet to understand its basic principle. Psionic load (represented as proportion) is only measured in general comparative situations, and represents the amount of current psionic strain as it is placed on the Cora. In other words, when the Cora sector of the brain is active, it - like the rest of the brain comes under load or usage. The entire structure of the brain is built in manners which make its own mechanism impossible to overload (thinking itself to death). Controls and balances exist to prevent extreme wear down of the brain, even more so in Humans, known as rest and exhaustion. Abilities each have their own proportional cost of psionic load, and each individual species may have different maximum loads for abilities they do understand how to invoke. Altiri for example have much higher maximum loads than Humans do, which is why telepathy from one Altiri to another Altiri is always perfect in signal power, never requiring a purge. Humans on the other hand have a much weaker load, and even though the purge increases this potential, the amount that is left afterwards is still estimated to be 20% of what would be needed for that same Human to be capable of telepathically linking to another Human (who has also already been purged to the same potential). The purge does increase the potential of a human to experience limited telepathy however, between the Altiri node who sent the purge and the target of that purge ~ the whole purpose of the experiment. The Human does not become nearly as strong when compared to the Altiri who purged them, and so, psionic load handling between telepathy is uneven. By default, a moderate or standard psionic connection of telepathy between the two would be 40% and 60%, (40% load for the human and 60% psionic load for the Altiri). If the connection strength somehow improves naturally, the loads remain the same, though the natural energy cost for the Cora is reduced. However, there are four sub-abilities within telepathy that are capable of altering an existing telepathic connection, and within that, altering both values of proportional psionic load in both persons. (The instance of Cora Failure is related to this information). One such instance is telepathic phasing, which is a well-known sub-class ability invented by the first few aggressor groups who had done so with their purged subjects. During telepathic phasing, both the human and Altiri place the existing connection into an altered state, in which all sensory information input between each other is blocked or walled-off. It would be as if the connection was non-existent, but in fact the connection is still functioning. The benefits of such circle around avoiding complicated short-term energy costs and time-limits associated with shutting down a connection only to desire the same link thirty or so minutes later. More energy is used up launching a new connection than is used when merely keeping the connection alive, and even though a phased connection does use up slightly more energy, the long term gradual increase of this is usually offset to the alternative. That said, the AVPSI predicts that the psionic load shift by exactly 5% on each subject during a phased connection, 5% less for the Altiri, and 5% more for the human. This would mean that the Altiri would have an easier time than normal passively maintaining the telepathic link while in phase, and consume less psionic energy in the process. The second variation of telepathic manipulation is that of Sensory Shift. However, Sensory Shift is not a sub-class ability of telepathy, rather a symptom of a different sub-class ability. If the telepathic link can be made strong enough, Sensory Shift is the symptom to occur. In summary, Sensory Shift refers to the phenomena in which all sensory input of the primary node overrides enough sensory data to the other node. In telepathy, sensory details are already shared by default, but usually not in a manner which is either overpowering or detailed enough to mistake current surroundings for alternate surroundings, and in human to Altiri connections, the lower strength of these means that visually shared perception (for the human mostly) is not intense enough or opaque enough to drown out existing sensory input. Therefore, both inputs get shared and overlapped onto each other. The means of achieving Sensory Shift can easily be attained in the sub-class ability known as Telepathic Amplification. The Altiri have learned how to "amplify" existing telepathic connections between their human nodes and themselves, particularly successful only if the connection is moderate or stronger (usually failing if the connection is weak). However, after enough study, the AVPSI learned that while the sub-class ability does work, its actual nature does not 'amplify' an existing connection; it merely changes the energy requirements for general sensory sharing or sensory shift to occur. When an Altiri uses telepathic amplification to boost their existing signal with that of their human node, they do so by intentionally inheriting more of the psionic load that what is standard, reducing the psionic load placed upon that human during the same connection. While this makes things easier for the human, it causes obvious problems shortly after for the Altiri using the ability; increased psionic load leads to increased psionic strain, more energy usage, and more fatigue buildup over time. The numbers could go from 60% Altiri load to 90% Altiri load, with variance in how much they may wish to amplify this signal. Needless to say, if an Altiri attempts to inherit 90% of the psionic load this way, they will not be capable of holding this ability for very long, and attempting to do so is considered lethally dangerous and reckless. That said, the Altiri have yet to prove they are capable of shifting this load in the reverse direction, likely due to human limitations. If the psionic load for a human rises above 40% from these connections, instead of becoming dangerous for them, the connection is what will suffer first, and by disconnecting, the danger is no longer apparent. Three-Way Telepathy works mostly the same way as telepathic amplification. This sub-class ability works by having the one with the highest psionic load acting as a closed-off medium of telepathy, so that the human may telepathically speak to or connect to a different Altiri than the one who purged them. While this ability is amazing on its own, the presentation of it has shown well-defined boundaries and limits, mostly because it relies on a variation of Telepathic Amplification. The instance of temporary Cora Failure as it occurred with #24 resulted in a negative chain-reaction runaway effect of load shift when their use of telepathic amplification went wrong. On an afternoon like any other, #24 and SM were struggling to keep a weak connection going due to poor weather, and contrary to what was expected, the temperature outdoors locked itself in place due to a high factor of humidity and overcast cloud coverage. As a result, SM recklessly decided to boost the sensory sharing of the connection by invoking telepathic amplification. While normally impossible during weak connections, SM and #24 (at the time) were more powerful Scions, and so they pulled it off, adding 70 minutes to their estimated time until natural fatigue would wipe out the connection, rather than rising temperature alone. The danger of having an increased psionic load is only present if it is held for long enough of a time, and in this instance, SM handled a sharply increased load of telepathy for more than 70 minutes. Unfortunately for SM, she wasn't as resilient as she thought she could be, and having forgotten about the ten-second delay rule of psionic strain fatigue, she reached her absolute limit during this period. According to the anecdotes told by #24, he had a total of six premonitions. The first three were hard to prove and led to negligible changes in life weather future events were changed or not. In terms of learning potential, #24 would soon begin to use future-clairvoyance to peak ahead of time, and because of this, (despite all efforts) he never managed to learn other abilities (with a possible exception). One of the ability triggers yielded a vision that the school itself would have some kind of problem letting kids out of school the next day. #24 stayed home that same day, though he had already planned on doing so for multiple pre-existing reasons, so he was unable to confirm anything until that moment, realizing that a snow storm more or less boxed in the school, making it too dangerous for buses to take kids home. Another ability trigger when used on a closer acquaintance revealed some kind of outdoor school activity in the JROTC program. In only two rare instances, #24 also somehow managed to trigger clairsentience instead of clairvoyance, in manners that were very easily provable. One instance had him discover a powerful sensation of hidden excitement all around the school, and his asking around revealed an afterschool concert with some band he had no idea about prior. This ability was used before ever coming to school in the morning, so #24 did not conclude this subconsciously by observing everybody’s behavior in the background. #24 wondered if it were possible in theory to use clairvoyance as a means of saving someone from danger, better said to play the role of hero. However, as terrifying situations should never be wished for, they don’t really happen often. In addition, the power of clairvoyance is not something that gets triggered at random when it needs to be; it is always manually invoked by that Scion. Not long into these training sessions, #24 quickly grew tired of the effects of clairvoyance. #24 also realized that by using clairvoyance on himself as often as possible, his everyday life no longer contained any real surprises. He used clairvoyance on himself far more often, because of a growing priority on a privacy concern involved in using it on others nearby him. The constant requirement of ability upkeep (to prevent ability-level atrophy) was another negative annoyance that bothered #24 more at the end of each day. The sense of using these powers responsibly combined with the hassle of the psionic strain each usage caused each time, as well as the downsides of losing the surprise of each day wiped away all motivation for #24 to continue using clairvoyance. Even the chance to prove the ability was real to anyone else would have been enough motivation, but the clairvoyance in this state was still limited, giving off only minor details out of such high energy consumption. So, the motivation to keep practicing this power was lost.

As this was mentioned previously, #24 rarely and accidently generated two successful instances of future-tense clairsentience instead of clairvoyance, which interested the AVPSI for many reasons. One interesting element was that the time-frame reference of his clair-senses always seemed to be locked into the future by default. The other interesting aspect was that #24 was capable of more than mere clairvoyance with enough practice. That said, about a decade after these abilities atrophied, #24 has made some attempt and reports that there is a possibility to regain or partially trigger his old clairsentience. There was good reason why SM tried to motivate #24 to use the clairvoyance ability as often as possible, at least every day when possible. #24 was warned ahead of time that if he learns clairvoyance with the help of SM, only to then ceases using the ability over a prolonged enough period of time, that specific ability would permanently atrophy. The warning became more important when #24 lost his motivation to keep using clairvoyance, since in all the times he had invoked the ability - never found a concrete way to prove this ability to be true to his human peers. What more, the echo-return data rate was not always reliable. If the target person in the time of that future were to go out of town or not be in their usual place, it would be impossible to remote view that person, since the person and place must be known ahead of time. Additionally, this meant that #24 could only realistically use his ability either during the hours of high school, or in the homes of the few acquaintances he knew the addresses to, which over time became a personal problem for him in the name of violating privacy. In short, there were less opportunities then to present the ability in a manner that could produce evidence. Feeling free from the weight of having to use an annoying ability each day, #24 kept the clairvoyance locked down tight, the frequency of each usage dramatically on the decline. It was not long until he was not using the ability at all, and it took SM some time to realize it. 2.5 months was all the time it took. After that time, SM pleaded for #24 to use clairvoyance either on her or himself as he used to. Much to his own surprise however, after failing to consecutively invoke clairvoyance, the ability failed to manifest itself again. #24 tried again multiple times (over the time span of several days) to get clairvoyance to work in any capacity, but to no avail. Ever since that day, he has been unable to invoke clairvoyance. #24 was certain SM was telling the truth about psionic atrophy of abilities, but did not believe her when she said that this atrophy was permanent for the person. Gradual Psionic Atrophy

Regarding psionic atrophy, there are two forms of atrophy that all Scions must deal with eventually. The first and already mentioned - is ability-specific atrophy when that Scion stops using the ability for too long. The second is gradual psionic atrophy (of all global projection strength) over time. The effect of this is incredibly slow, but it is caused by aging, so there is nothing anybody can do about the situation. The expected time for an active Scion to notice a gradual decline in their psionic powers is about age 28, with age 60 being the expected point of no return (where the decline reaches a point where all psionic abilities including purged-telepathy is impossible). These age-value estimations are only predictions, and for this paragraph reference, only affects humans. At the age of only 19, #24 reported something daunting to himself and SM. At this young age, he noticed a very subtle decline in his psionic capacity for general projections and telepathic integrity handling. #24 compared his natural abilities over time from the very beginning after the purge to the current moment. His recollections points out that he used to be capable of contacting SM in telepathic connections with just sheer thought alone and minimal focus, though now each attempt seems to cost a bit more focus and a bit more mental and psionic energy each time. A third contributing factor to this decline, besides general age, is the possibility of a very slow neurodegenerative condition caused by his chronic headache condition (and in part, the medication applied to this condition). There is zero evidence that chronic headaches have any latent effect on the Cora sector of the brain; the AVPSI merely mentions this as an untested possibility. The only fact that is provable, is that #24's natural rate of gradual psionic decline is slightly elevated compared to previous statistical data related to gradual psionic atrophy. The reasons cannot be determined at this time, and so only speculations to explain it exist.

This however is not where the conversion story ends. #24 felt an overwhelming positive aspect of life itself.
