One non-classified name that all Altiri remember is the name of Aldriah. Despite the horrific event that removed her life from this world, Aldriah was considered part of the purge experiments, despite never actually sending a purge to a human individual.9Please respect copyright.PENANAqcsMCYf7cd

To be precise, Aldriah attempted to purge a human individual whom she grew attached to through the constant watch of advanced clairvoyance. During the earliest stages of the psionic purge experiments, (after #2 but before #3), Aldriah, being granted no green light to purge her subject (due to a lack of team to help her), decided to attempt sending this purge anyway, alone.9Please respect copyright.PENANAvrp0mWFJ8K

Purging an individual is not possible with any number of scions less than 6, and is not recommended in numbers below 8. The enactment of a purge causes severe psionic strain to the Cora sector of the brain, and before this incident, it wasn't known if a mere attempt to purge while solo could inflict damage. Sadly, Aldriah suffered from immediate and irreversible brain damage to her Cora that was so intense, her death was nearly instant, the damage spreading far enough to interfere with spinal nerves. A combination of seizures and loss of ability to breathe was medically the cause of death.9Please respect copyright.PENANA5kE6N4BwNv

Aldriah was swiftly marked as the primary example for how dangerous a purge is to the sender, if done without proper training amplification assistance. In fact, strong psionic strain occurs even when a higher group of scions assists with the purge (the strain obviously being less). Herios (who was gone long before Aldriah) somehow knew of this possible consequence, which is why knowledge about psionic strain was available even to Aldriah for a long time. It still is not understood how Herios knew about these parameters.
