The girls get out their dresses and I allow them hanging space. I head into the en-suite and top up my tan, I already bathed and I'm prepped. The girls however have not. I finish my tan and put on some shimmer spray. So much so that I will actually glow at the party, it also smells divine. Like peaches and cream.

I pace out of the en-suite the girls are still in the wardrobe and I turn on the curling iron, just to touch up my hair. I'm just wearing my robe, having taken off everything else to tan. I don't want any bra or panty lines on my tan. It will develop within twenty minutes and then I can dress.

The silence between us is charged. I'm suddenly aware of how naked I am. His large manly hands grip onto my bare hips. Something in his touch reminds me of our time spent living together, his insistence to touch me and hold me.

It just so happens that I'm holding her shoes in my hands and as I turn she clocks them. She stares up at Ross thinking him thoughtful as she smiles. She paces towards me, grabs the shoes ignoring my existence. I notice she's in her white dress. It's all over lace and it's too much. Just like everything she wears it is skin tight. She skips over to him and throws herself around him. His arms circle her and I know what his hugs feel like. He looks up at me holding her. His eyes unreadable. She cranes her head and kisses him. I walk off to the wardrobe intent on finding Rachel and wishing it was just us getting ready together.

"Okay it's your go" she says indicating that I get in my dress. Facing the opposite direction, I take off my robe and place my nude underwear on before slipping my silk dress on over it. Once it's in place I stand facing the mirror.

I smile at up at Jay, he chose the dress after all. A high halter-neck top with thin straps that go around my neck. In ivory silk, it's cut closely to my frame. The silk falls over my hips and down to a train on the floor. It's simple, yet elegant and it showcases my body.

"Wait" I say grabbing my phone before they all move and escape photographic evidence of our prom night. The timer counts down and Jay places his arms around my waist. Matty stands next to me on the other side with Rachel. Once the shutter has clicked off I take a look at the picture and giggle, noticing Jay and his bare chest.
