Seven survivors face zombies in a broken world

It's been too long since I've done any updating so I'll try to update stories so take this one for now

This is the story of a high-school marching band trapped in a zombie-apocalypse after their competition bus crashes, forty-six miles away from their home town.

Buying land and starting a homestead sounded like a wonderful way to escape the city life that plagues so many, but when tragedy strikes, times get tough, and morals slowly erode. What is that one thing you will be willing to do to survive? What about the one thing you are sworn against? That line in the sand will be crossed, the threshold breached, and the other side of the door explored, that dark place that is the feral human instinct of survival will be laid bare.

Imagine what would happen in a world where everybody had power? The good guys, the bad guys... the mentally ill? When a unique molecule is accidentally released into the world following a lab experiment gone wrong, not a portion of the population, but the whole population of planet earth are given unique powers and suddenly no one's in control.  Everybody is dangerous. It doesn't matter who you are, a pretty girl, a child. Nobody is safe. In this post apocalyptic world, what will happen to a suicidally depressed teenager, Margie? A girl who is now forced to live by a promise she made to her dying parents. Will she make it in this new world where everyone could be a deadly enemy? And will her promise to her parents be enough to carry her through the apocalypse?
