Lamija Begovic was raised in a world of power, pressure, and perfection. As the daughter of one of Sarajevo's most influential men, she was raised to take over an empire-sharp, fearless, and unbothered by the men who try (and fail) to impress her.
Ayub Husić has spent years at her brother's side: quiet, strategic, and quietly in love with the one woman he can never have.
He keeps his distance. She barely notices.
Until her father reassigns him-directly under her leadership.
Now, she's watching. He's unraveling. And the lines they never crossed before are starting to blur.
Kumiko and Alena are two orphans living through a gruelling war. There is grinding poverty, constant bombings, and looming soldiers. Kumiko wants to keep his younger sister safe from the war around them. But will he sacrifice his sister's heart in order to do so?
As the Prime World Ends, another parallel tale takes its first steps. Welcome to a world where Izuku has two older sisters, Tatsumaki and Fubuki. But that's not all that has changed in this world. Strange new things lurk in the shadows, stars and across the ocean. Can Izuku once again become one of the greatest heroes, just like his older sisters?
Synths are designed to be the perfect companions for their owners. They are genetically engineered to be sweet, kind, loyal, agreeable, and submissive. But as the communist rebellion brews in the shadows, there may be more to everything than there appears to be.———

Twenty-four-year-old Bailey hates and loves writing and dreams of becoming an editor and author. During a trip to New York City for an interview with the New York Times, a snowstorm cancels his flight, and he's forced to stay in a Marriot overnight, where he meets Oscar the Goldfish.
Oscar has met many people over the past few months, but none have intrigued him as much as Bailey. He acts as a therapy fish and listens to Bailey's writing and life concerns.
The two begin to bond, but when an unexpected accident occurs during Hour Seven, they must put their differences aside and help one another through the tense situation.
Will Oscar and Bailey's newfound friendship overcome the accident, or will they succumb to their pasts and grow apart as most fish and man do? Hour Eight will determine everything.

*Moral: The past is the past; this is the future.**A novelette inspired by a story I heard at work about Oscar the Goldfish.**Weekly updates**This story is not meant to bash Romance writers (I like Romance but don't write it). It's meant to teach struggling, non-Romance ones that they don't need to write Romance to be good writers.*

This is a letter I wrote to the Canadian Government for Have a Heart Day 2024. I am asking the government to stop discriminating against First Nations children, to stop giving them inadequate services, education, and support, to stop treating them unequally compared to non-Indigenous children, and to stop taking them away from their loving families. I really hope that you read my letter and that you either copy paste it or write your own, and email the Canadian government yourself.
