There was tons of dust circulating in the air. I heard a familiar voice. It was Marson! "Agent Mariah" He spoke, he sounded slightly happy, but his voice filled with worry. The dust soon cleared. Mariah, I'm guessing that was her name, then smiled, but it instantly disappeared. "Wheres the boy," she asked, solemn once again. He looked at his feet, then at me, he frowned, then his face went blank, he looked over at Mariah, then made a gesture.
"come"
He led us away from the rubble.
We soon reached a door. To my horror, when we walked through it there, in the middle of the floor laid my brother. He was squirming, his eyes open. They were a misty blue. He was screaming. Then, after yelling in gibberish for what seemed hours, though it probably was a minute, he screamed, in full English "don't, please please, stop, don't hurt me, stop... stop!"
Mariah then dropped to her knees, sat Trevor up and stared straight into his misty eyes, "Son, Trevor honey! Stop wake up your okay, you. Are. fine" he kept squirming, yelling to let him go.
I bent down, and not even caring tears where pouring from my eyes.
"please wake up Trevor, STOP!" I yelled crying my eyes out, I laid my hand on his shoulder.
Almost like Magic, I felt a shock on my hand soon as I laid it on him and his misty eyes then cleared, I saw his electric blue ones shine out, but only for a mere second, for he closed them, and he was out. I bounced back. scared
His nose, I had just noticed, was bleeding.
Mariah held his limp body. "he's okay" and she dabbed up the blood on his face.
Marson Came over and sat next to Mariah.
"this poor child" she spoke as she checked his elbow, she saw a bruise. She held him like he was her own child, she looked at over at me, then at Marson. She leaned over next to him and whispered something I couldn't hear. "oh, uh cant you, I mean, uh yes, "your better at this kind of thing" he whispered even quieter things he brushed his hands together and sat next to me.
We sat in silence, I still had tears falling down my face. "Amber, I know, I know this is-"
"You don't know anything!" I didn't even realize I was yelling,"this is all just trash, nothing makes sense nothing will, just stop, stop trying to tell me it all will" By now, my face was flooded with tears.
"I'm sorry, this is all not okay, none of it will ever make sense, it does even make sense to me sometimes, but we just have to hold together," he said, staring into my eyes.
I smiled, I decided it was time to stop arguing, and I wiped my tears away.
* * *
Trevor finally woke up. He looked around, with a worried expression almost like something was soon to grab him and start torturing him.
"Amber...." he smiled then an angry look melted onto his face.
I had never seen him angry before, even in an argument, he was never angry
"Stay away, Amber!" he yelled, fury pouring from his mouth as tears from his eyes.
"Trevor..." I quivered out backing away as he shakily stood up.
"I know the monster you truly are... get away", and he pulled out a little knife "don't come another step closer"
"please, Trevor" I pleaded. I saw blood pouring from the side of his head his face was pale, he was losing blood, quickly.
He stepped closer I stepped back. "Trevor Stop" I just barely spit out. Tears started pouring from my face
"Don't do that.. it makes it harder to do this, I know its a trick." He said bitterly. He started to finger the knife, then sorrow filled his face and he collapsed. He looked at the knife and anger filled his face and he chucked the knife harmlessly to the left of me.
He sat there crying and holding his hands in his lap the blood pouring from his head trickling onto his lap.
The lady walked over to Trevor. He looked up as her hand touched his back. "Leave me alone." he said in a faint whisper loud enough to hear.
"Trevo-"
"Leave me alone!" he yelled, he then looked away and put his head in his hands.
