Feeling sated and satisfied in the car next to him as he drives off to the hospital, the heater on full blast as he smiles to himself indicating back onto the main road. I glance over at him smiling, he briefly looks at me and then back at the road blushing.

During our coffee date I told Rhea everything. The whole lot, how Ross was before the accident and his admission of being in love with me, the party and Jay, Matty and how serious we're becoming. She listened and let me get it all out. She's pro Matty, always has been. Jay she said had been very stressed when I fainted, before fainting himself that is.

"Let's get takeaway eat at the hospital with Ross" he says glancing at the sign for services. Pulling into the drive thru moments later, we get burgers and milkshakes. Seeing his elated mood, and his broad grin makes me want to suggest car sex more often.
I start on my triple chocolate milkshake before we arrive at the hospital and he chuckles watching me. Matthew carries the food up to Ross' room and I hold onto his arm. I'm slightly shocked when we walk in laughing to one another that Jay is at Ross' bedside talking with Ross. He eyes both myself and Matthew and smiles looking down at the floor briefly.

"Sounds like a good plan" I tell him smiling, unable to hide my happiness that Ross is back. We're all watching some generic gameshow on the flatscreen, Jay and Matty trying to guess the answers. I laugh as they guess the wrong selections three times in a row as I get them all correct.

"Know it all" Jay smirks and I chuck a chip at him. He catches it and munches on it smiling. When the adds come onto the screen I stand up and stretch. Hands above my head feeling the effects of my run. Matty drinks me in smiling. Collecting up the rubbish I clear up and bin all of the packets and containers.

Another hour of television with the guys and I’m ready to go. I stand up stretching and shrug on my Barbour jacket. Hugging Ross before I leave and telling him to rest and eat well as it’s his last day in hospital. He smiles at me genuinely as Matthew takes my hand. I smile at Jay and he winks back.

Whilst walking through the hospital Matthew eyes the pharmacy and pulls me inside before heading to the car park. He picks up a few pregnancy tests and I eye him carefully.
