Write a story that revolves around telling the truth and it's benefits or consequences.

One of the two following sentence must be used:

"Is there anything more cruel than the truth?"

"Is there anything more blissful than the truth?"

OK I am bored and I am likely to be bored later so I would like people to finish the following quote,

Lex the galaxy burn as we....

The quote can be finished however you see fit

Example's,

Let the galaxy burn as we use the fire to cook popcorn

Winner will be chosen by me Hybrid Kitten the bored guy on the internet

Are you funny? I think you are. Make up a joke, a one-liner, a shaggy-dog joke, a pun, anything. As long as it's funny, it'll work. Literally as many entries as can physically and mental pour out of your brain. Now, I don't get to judge this time. The community judges, so even if you're not funny, spread a few likes around. Are you ready? Get cracking.

After the contest is over and a winner has been determined by the community, I will pick my top three to be featured in Stupid Cruel Jokes.

Can you write a story from one quote? Sounds hard? Why don't you give it a try. Four weeks from July 25, 2016, I'll pick the best, most innovative story, and anyone can give it a try. The story can be any genre, any length, but must be rated PG or under. The story must be inpired by the quote in a way that is palpable. I will trust your judgement, though if I end up asking you how the quote fits, please don't feel insulted. Three entries maximum per person. Are you ready?

"You can hide your darkness from others, but your darkness will never hide from you." And yes, I made that up on the spot, but it sounds like it could get a few good stories.

Now get going. Because you see the timer counting down by the seconds and you know you're always running out of time.

Every story needs a good opening line or paragraph to begin with. For example some of my favourites include:

All of these are great books that I highly recommend.

But now its your turn.

Make up a fake title for a book then write the opening first line or paragraph.

Some Rules:

Nothing too excessive, the rating is PG.Characters from other books/movies can be used. But keep them in character please!Two entries per person.If you choose to write a paragraph rather than a sentence, please keep it within two.

Most people are amazing at writing stories with a lot of words and chapters. But I want to see something different. I want to see who can get the most likes writing a story with only:

50 words
