Your character has been wandering for...what seemed like ages now. A long, empty hallway leading apparently nowhere. On either side of them, dozens and dozens of doors. Unmarked. Unnamed. Indistinguishable from one another. When they finally do decide to open one up, they see a very peculiar scene. A memory. Long forgotten.

My intention was to have this be a chance to flesh out your original character's backstory, and give some perspective on a bad memory, an important memory, something like that! Do with it what you'd like!

Got something on your mind bothering you? Here's your chance to gather it all up and throw it to the page! Does even the tiniest, smallest, insignificant thing really get to you and you haven't been able to really talk about it with anyone? Go ahead! Write it out!

This can be on the most insignificant thing (like the fact that no one ever remembers to switch the loads of laundry around, don't even get me started) or it can be something personal and of a bit more value if you're comfortable with sharing it. This is more of an experiment than anything, but I'm curious to see how it goes.

The first contestant will be given a prompt. The goal is to complete the prompt and create a new one at the end of your submission for the next contestant. This is not a serial contest! The prompts and submissions don't have to have anything to do with each other. They can be three random words, or a line of dialogue, or a setting, character, and item. The prompt you create for the next person can be anything, but please keep all submission less than 500 words! I want to see how many people we can get to participate. :)

How much do we REALLY know of ghosts? Few and/or a bit? Well, do you recall the movie "The Others" with Nicole Kidman in the main role?

Imagine you have the ability to see and communicate with ghosts, what would you do? Or the opposite, how is it to be a ghost? Cold and frightful or confused and agressive... (No matter how the ghosts are good or bad but keep the rate in PG-13 level.) You are also allowed to use historical facts that has inpired you or true experience.
