Panzer - I’m planning to obtain a BSN, DNP, MSN, and whatever else to get a a career as a Nurse Practioner. If not that, I’m also looking into dermatology or radiology.

To my authors who've tried voice acting, I humbly request any tips you've used in your audits. I'm planning to audition for a role in a school play, and any help would be appreciated.

Mira - OH HIII, I've done voice acting and theatre. If your auditioning I'd say build your character really well. Like reaaaaaaaaly characterise it if that makes sense? Don't be afraid to interpret the script diffrently to other people as well as be a lil extra. The more you embody the character the better but also don't commit to a voice or like body launguage you know you can't do for like 2 hours

Ashy_Haze - Ok, theater nerd mode engage:

Make sure to PROJECT. You don't want to be yelling, but make sure everyone can hear you fine. Enunciate. Put a little body language into it. And most of all, embody that character. Unless the character is exactly like you in every way shape and form (which is unlikely) you shouldn't feel yourself onstage.

I did an audition for Orchestra last night, and guess what? It didn't turn in because something was wrong with the turn-in. So now it's missing, and it still won't turn in. You know what's even better? My teacher won't listen to late auditions, so I might not get a grade.

I can't wait to fail Orchestra because of a digital fuck up.

Panzer - @Rfrog27, You're always sat with your type of instrument, but you need to submit an audition so your teacher can decide who leads the section ( First Chair ) and there on.
