About the novel:

The warring states of the world are warming around the new fires of a calamitous war, freed from half a decade in shackles of so-called peace. With the ever growing threat of the prosperous Confederacy looming over the continent, the ailing alliance of Aelon lies on an endless path of futile resistance in the face of the vastest invasion since the Second Calamity. Years later, in 4101, a titanic project began in South America: the construction of a wall that would span 70% of the continent. Though the idea seemed archaic, it eventually proved to be a crucial measure for humanity's survival. After 664 years of arduous work, the wall was completed, and the old nations gave way to a new order: the Seven Republics.

Amid this apocalyptic landscape, an unexpected figure emerges: Joaquín Gabriel Fernández Fausto, a young visionary who, in the midst of chaos and despair, assumes the presidency of the Seven Republics under the banner of the UUP party. I closed my eyes and smiled as I drummed the beats to the song. Though I was unable to sing, music had still always been a huge part of my life. It allowed me to express my personality without the use of speaking.

I discovered the symphonic metal band Sabaton when I was a teenager and ever since then they have been my all time favorite. I learned more about history through their songs than I ever did in school. The first time I went to one of their concerts, I became so absorbed in the music. There was something about being there in person that made the music feel so much more powerful.

However, never in a million years would I have ever imagined my dream would come true.What started with thinking I was going to die turned out to be the best night of my life, and the start of the best part of my life.
