The side of the story

the one we didn't want

to know

to see, to hear,

to be near!

The side of the story

was hidden

for many years

fallen apart

and it had brought me to tears!

We don't always want

to know the truth

dare to hear

we do it out of fear!

We don't always

know what's right

to know what's wrong

we just follow along.
