I entered the old building with a heavy heart. My hand clutched Emmylin's small ones tightly. My breathes were fast. My hands cold and body sweating. If something goes wrong we are all ruined. Emmylin will turn into another dead soul inside a living body. She will turn up like me.

We moved forward, our footprints and danger following us close behind. I opened the wooden door. It creaked open. The room was empty except the few sacks lying here and there. The first one to enter my vision was Chet, his sight sent a shiver of disgust through me. Emmylin instantly hid behind me, my skirt flaps covering her small and petite figure. Her little hands tugged on them tightly.
"Look who is here, the whore of all time" Chet spat out and not even a muscle in my body twichted on his remark. My eyes remained cold and focused. Out of my peripheral view I saw Lewis and Conor enter the scene. They joined Chet on his both sides. Lewis and Conor still had a wary look on them.
"Stalin's fuck toy finally decided to grace us with her presence." Lewis smirked and I remained silent.
"Cut the crap guys, Cathy give her back" Conor motioned behind me and my eyes frantically searched for Steven.
Where the fuck is he?
I moved Emmylin to my front forcefully as she denied to come. I silently prayed for Steven to come. I couldn't save Emmylin from here. There are cameras here, I need to fool Stalin.
I casted a last look around the building for Steven before pushing Emmylin forward. I gave Emmylin a quick nod as an assurance, half heartedly Emmylin walker towards them and I felt my own dropping.
My hope started to drop as I watch Emmylin walk into her destruction. Chet had an evil smirk on his face. My hands started to grow more cold by second as if I was dying slowly. I need to do something. I can't let her go. I promised her. I thought of throwing my facade away. Fight them as much I can while Emmylin can run away. My heart started hammering against my chest.
But then I see Emmylin running. Running into someone's arms. It's not Chet or any one.
"Stevie" her voice made me look up in his direction. Dark cold eyes met my brown ones. He came. He was finally here. I resisted the urge to smile at him. Smile at the sweet reunion of them.
I masked my emotions with a blank look. Steven's face was covered. The gun I gave him rested on his right hand while the other hugger Emmylin close. Emmylin cried to his shoulder.
"Who the fuck are you" Chet's voice took me back from my riverie.
"Someone you don't want to mess with" his voice was hard and cold.
"How the hell did he get in" Conor was inspecting the logic. Before he could jump him into conclusion I distracted him.
"Give the girl back you scumbag, if you want to breathe more" I put up the venom in my words as much as I can to make it realistic. Lewis Conor and Chet turned their heads to me in surprise.
"You in this with us whore?" Chet raised his left eyebrow.
"No" I stated, my eyes concentrated on Steven. "I am and always with Stalin".
I saw Chet smirking at me but what he didn't saw was Steven's fist colliding with his cheek. Chet staggered back because of the impact. But soon recovered.
"Son of a bitch" Chet swore and the three charged towards him. Steven immediately set Emmylin aside. I watched the fight unfold before me.
I saw Chet lunging his hand but Steven blocked it skillfully, Conor managed to kick Steven on his stomach while Lewis got himself hurt amidst the chaos. It was really interesting to watch men rolling on the ground trying to assert dominance on each other. I was actually really interested to see them fight until

on the ground. I don't want to create doubts so I ran towards Emmylin. I winked at her before dragging her towards me. She wiggled to get free. I kept my hands a little loose.
Stark's body hit the ground with a thud. A blood trail starting from his forehead to his chin. He groaned in pain. His eyes drooping.
"You won't get out of here alive" despite his inability to move his body he still managed to croak out q threat. Steven smirked at him, his bloody knuckles falling to his sides. But Steven was no where near the end. He raised his leg and kicked him between his legs. Stark let a strangled scream. When his screams subsided, his body surrendered and I watched him collapse completely.
Next Conor charged towards him and Steven took out my gun from his waistband. He pointed it towards Conor. Conor stopped dead in his track.
"Still wanna fight?!" He cocked his head to his right. Conor looked tensed and wary. With him, Lewis also felt silent.
"Listen you bloody fuckers. If you don't want to die, hand back the child back. I am anyway going to take her with me. If you corporate I won't take your lives with me" he warned them.
"No, we are not letting out the girl" Conor's voice was determined. Lewis looked like he don't want to be a part of this cluster fuck.
"Cathy, give me the girl" as the words escape his lips, Steven pulled the trigger. The bullet hit Conor's shoulder and stumbled back to the ground, a pained scream escaping his lips. Before Lewis could react, Steven shot his left legs. The room filled with groans and screams I clamped Emmylin's ears with my hands.
As the screams continued and I saw Steven torture them with more punches and kicks. Not once did I since or shudder. Conor spat out the blood, the red liquid staining the white marble. Their unettended bullet wounds let out more blood. Their shirt wet and bloody.
I don't feel bad for them. They deserved it. They have crushed the dreams of many little girls. Took their light leaving them in the dark. Unable to get out of the prison of depression, they started dying out slowly. Their wounds and scars unettended like their bullet wounds.
After making sure that the three of them are unable to move their body he looked at me. His dark eyes met my warm brown ones. I saw hesitancy and confusion swirling around them. Without uttering a word I nodded my heads assuring him. I can see it in his eyes. He don't want to hurt me. I have once found a man who don't want to hurt me despite the fact that it is only the way to reach his goal. Among all the men who fucked and stole my sanity away from me for the pleasure of few hours I met Steven.
He moved closer to me, I confirmed again with a nod. He took a sharp breath before grabbing Emmylin towards him. My grip on her tightened and then went loose when she was taken away from me. I put out a show for the sake of the bloody camera. With a last look as we whispered unsaid words between us.
He raised the gun and knocked me out on the head. I felt the pain surging. The pain gripping the side of my head as I let my body fall to the ground. My body touched the ground, the cold tile touching my exposed skin.
The world started to blur, my eyelids closing. I saw two silhouettes staring down at me as my lips parted for breath. The darkness slowly started enveloping around me. Somewhere between them I heard a faint noise in the background.
