"That's the third time this week that you have disrupted my tavern Mr. Zanfa." Landar said in his usual low and calm voice " I have half a mind to ban you from this tavern."
Czar knew Landar wasn't serious. Since coming to this town 2 years ago he was the only client that Landar had made a friendship with. Czar slowly picked himself up feeling sharp pains above each knee where he could see deep purple bruises.
"They started the brawl. He shouldn't have knocked the mug out of my hand, you could have warned me that there was a pirate crew in," Czar stated in his deep gruff voice.
Landar didn't reply he finished setting up his sale sign and shuffled back into the dingy tavern. Czar right behind him.
The tavern was dusty and dimly lit revealing old paintings of ships at sea. Landar talked of these paintings often saying their worth was immesurable, due to the fact that his father had painted them while he was at sea.
Czar took a seat at the dark stained oak bar. Landar filled a glass half full with the cheapest rum they had and slid it to Czar. Czar downed it immediately hoping to relieve the hangover he had acquired from excessive drinking the night before. Suddenly the door swung open with a large bang as it hit the wall. Czar spun around and saw the man from last night's brawl.
A short man whose arms were riddled with nauticaul symbols and Andros religious symbols as was usual among pirates on the Andros sea. "That's him captain" said the man. Behind him stood a large man. Six feet tall wearing a large decorative overcoat with a wide brimmed hat and a sword at holster.
