Step by step, never getting anywhere,

Just tossed around like a rag doll.

An aqua cape wrapped around my face,

Unable to breathe, just crawling,

Drowning in an endless cycle.

Just chaos, no logic,

Just like crawling up a hurricane.

An endless circle, a dizzying calamity,

Drowning, sinking to the bottom,

A fathom I can never reach.

A climb in vain,

Ending up at the bottom anyway.

All the things I built

Are floating and sinking,

Out at sea, in a storm I could never tame.

Light dimming as I climb harder,

Shards of metal slash my face, my flesh,

Bleeding out, the waters red,

A torrent that continues, mixing with the storm.

Crimson, black, and deep blue mix together before my eyes.

Tossed out,

Nothing but sand and a beach I don't recognize.

Left for dead, and not a soul but me—

A prisoner, a survivor, forgotten and marginalized.
