In the land called Jamaica, my home,

It's where my ancestors roamed.

God created this land as the jewel of the sea.

We’ve been fighting for our freedom since birth.

The chains that bind us never seem to fade.

From the Blue Mountains to the shores of Negril,

The voices of the people rise up, ready for what is ours!

The new resolution, we need a revolution.

We will stand up and fight and take what is ours.

With the fire in our hearts, we will take our cause to your front door.

Together we’ll rise; the call for freedom is clear.

From the ashes of our people's adversity, we will take our rights back!

No more forced silence or being made to take oppression!

With the spirit of our ancestors guiding every step,

We’ll come together as one nation and fight as one!

The new resolution, we need a revolution.

Take up arms and fight for what’s ours.

With the fire in our hearts, we’ll break down the walls and take our rights back!

We'll beat the drums until you hear us.

Feel the strength of the people,

From Kingston to Montego Bay!

We’ll take up a righteous cause; the people are here.

The new resolution, we need a revolution.

Stand up for our rights; let’s ignite the solution.

So we'll raise our voices!

In the spirit of the lion, the people will roar!
