Catherine’s Mother, Mary
Today, the birth of my daughter, Catherine, was a beautiful, yet painful day. I felt strong contractions at 1:28 pm, making me scream and cry. My husband took me to the hospital wing where a doctor was ready to help my baby come into the world.
It took two hours to give birth to her. Two painful- no- excruciatingly painful hours were what it took to get her born at last. The worst thing about this was she was given her father’s eyes. They were bright, bold blue, nearly ice colored, piercing like the sharpest, coldest swords through my bones.23Please respect copyright.PENANAy8Rxe7VSAt

Mary gave birth just two years ago and the child was already commanding people as if she were queen. Once I heard of her child having such leadership at such a young age, I vowed to make my daughter even more respectable.
Now that she is finally born, I am gravely disappointed. Her face is kind, naïve even! Her eyes are a soft shade of brown like mine, it’s the same with her hair. Nothing could have infuriated me more than this.
A kind leader will be taken advantage of, but a respectable one won’t be questioned. This is my greatest disappointment; I will not stand for it. She will toughen up; she will look like a soldier after a long war. She won’t let our legacy die.23Please respect copyright.PENANADn63nvLATd

My little boy had curly brown hair and the biggest brown eyes. He was adorable. I named him Gabriel, but everyone thinks he is a girl. Now, I’m not complaining, he would do well as a woman. In fact, queens must continue birthing heirs until one is female.
Personally, I don’t want to go through the pain of childbirth again, so I suppose I’ll just play along. Gabriel, now Gabriella, will wear dresses, grow her hair long, and will never know she is truly a boy.23Please respect copyright.PENANAr0SHo4Bt9c

Aurelie, my little angel. She brightened my entire life when she was born. A perfect little girl. She has golden hair and bright blue eyes like me, but she has her father’s dimples on the left of her face when she smiles.
All the other queens are concerned about their children growing up to be fearsome leaders, but my Aurelie could never. She’ll be an optimist, someone who sees the good in everyone and everything. She’s such an angel.

When my little girl was born, I knew she wouldn’t disappoint me. She had my looks, the looks that got me my throne. The looks that tricked my late husband. Too bad he couldn’t see his little daughter.
Now, I didn’t kill Robert, I would never. Truth is, I was in love with him. Now, talking about tricking him didn’t seem like I loved him, but I did. He didn’t love me unless I looked my very best. He died of alcohol poisoning. He went out with another woman and drank until his death. I don’t mind; I get to rule everything without interference.23Please respect copyright.PENANAlNymUbJkt9

Aymee's Mother, Judith23Please respect copyright.PENANAfntpd3FbDR
Little Aymee was a very odd baby. She didn't cry; she didn't make a sound. The doctors thought she may have died, but then she opened her eyes and looked around. It was very peculiar.
My two eldest sons were noisy; they practically shook the earth with their cries. Maybe she'll finally be the peace and quiet I needed. I really hoped she would be a flawless queen after I passed.
