Shadows of countless cats ran through the dead of the night. Moving secretly to the fortress that had been buried for centuries, on a place called meow planet, Catlantis. A world where everyone was a cat. Cats there have 9 lives while demigods have 12 lives. As cats of different ages entered the fortress, a sleek, non-fluffy white cat wearing a grey cloak and a dull grey guard behind him appeared. As the announcements begin, the secret organization stirred to life.
“Una! Bring me the prophecy scroll!” The leader demanded. A fluffy white cat with black spots darted forward, holding the scroll with both hands. She then went back to the hall after delivering the scroll. The leader then opened the scroll and studied the contents. He growled and slammed a paw on the stone table.
“Listen up you worthless piece of rubbish! You have failed me twice! 2 failures, 2 major projects! I shall launch a new initiative called project Moonstar. And I do not tolerate failures in this one!” The leader boomed, dramatic lightnings flashing behind him. Everyone in the room took a step back. “No need to be so harsh, Eton, if they failed a project, I am always here to deliver the punishment.” A fluffy white cat with a water droplet pendant emerged in a swirl of water. She stood at a corner of the hall, calm and elegant while Eton raged at the members.
“Alice. You will lead the gold swan to get them, and report any suspicious things.” Aquara said calmly, a little too calm it it’s dangerous. Alice, eyes blank, went up and took out a small translucent cube from her torso and dialed something inside it.
“Amaru! You are setting fire to the only sky house we have now! You are not helping matters at all!!” Calna screeched for the first time in her life. Amaru’s madness has finally driven even Calna mad. Calna searched the house for anything to extinguish the fire. The walls, furniture, all seemed to be laughing at them. Even the clouds, blocking the view of the sky from the sky house completely. Calna growled as she look for water. “Oops? Guess I cannot take the fire back now?” Amaru said sheepishly as she watched Calna search for special water to extinguish Amaru’s flames furiously. Calna threw a murderous side eye at Amaru and Amaru went silent immediately.
The door suddenly slammed open as Luna emerged from the door.
“Hi! I am home! Did Amaru set anything on… never mind.” Luna yelled, gaze landing on the flame cracking in a corner. She facepalmed and extinguished the fire with her water before giving Amaru a death glare.
“If you dare set this house on fire one more time, I swear I will kick you out the house.” Luna said, anger in her voice.
“Woah… she is angry …” Amaru said as she watch Luna slam her door close.
As Luna collapsed on her bed and pulled on her blanket, a soft humming sound echoed in the room. Luna immediately got out of bed and looked for the source. She looked around frantically. From the corner of her eye, Luna noticed the reflection on the mirror is no longer herself, but instead, a few glowing lines of words. Luna looked at the mirror immediately.
“When moonlight meets starlight and fire greets frost.
Seven sparks shall rise, no matter the cost.
From shattered thrones to silent screams, shall the seven sparks rise.
A crystal voice, a shadowed soul, a sun that’s caged, a storm to roll. The fire returned, the ice once slain, shall mark the end of the reign.
But mark this well, the end is peace…or a sharper thorn”
Luna frowned. She never received a message from Her unless it was important.
