Arya quickly pulled out her dagger and hurled it at Blutox just in time to hit his sword before he struck Uobleza.
The War Kanrei paused before turning his head in the emerald green-haired girl's direction. He jumped from his position and landed in front of her and swung his sword. She tried to dodge but it met its target and cut the Herimolian cleanly in the chest. She groaned in pain and crashed to the ground. He raises his sword to strike her down but a boulder hits him away.
Danila rushed to Arya's side. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine."
The fairy turned to Blutox who picked himself and his sword from the ground.
"Why is he attacking us?"
"I don't know, but his energy feels strange."
"I feel it too." Danila got up on her feet and controlled vines from the ground, keeping them dancing by her side."
Monk Zumma arrived at the scene with Syrie and Daya. "What is going on?" He asked as he watched Danila use her vines to defend against attacks from the War Kanrei.
"W-we don't know… he just suddenly attacked Uobleza and is turning his attention to whoever tries to stop him."
The monk narrowed his eyes as he watched the blue-skinned man. "The Utagri Al, he's lost it because of the sword."
'Get the sword out of his hand.' he said in his mind, hoping for Danila to pick it up.
She did and she quickly controlled bits of stones from the ground using her telekinesis. She shoots them at the Kanrei who swiftly hits them away with his sword. Seeing that he was distracted, she attempted to control the sword out of his hand, but her opponent's grip on it was strong.
The black smoke engulfing his body increased and the sky above where they were fighting suddenly turned dark. Blutox vanished into the ground and appeared behind Danila. Before she could realize what had happened, he plunged the sword through her back.
Danila screamed in pain as the blue-skinned man pulled out the sword, he raised it, ready to deal the finishing blow but a large white circle appeared on the ground below himself and Danila. Monk Zumma appeared between the two and placed his hand on Blutox's chest. The War Kanrei flew backwards, crashing on the ground with the sword rolling out of his hand.
The black smoke that was exuding from his body and the darkened sky both vanished the moment the sword left his hand. Blutox picked himself up and looked around at the damage he had caused.
"W-What have I done?"

"Why do you need to meet the witch?" Trippier questioned.
"She has a book we believe we can use to bring Hex to ourselves," Grevla replied.
"So we can stop him," Eryth added.
The light brown-haired man stayed quiet while leading the two through the forest of the living. "I don't think your plan is any good," he finally spoke.
"Why do you say so?"
"Well first, you are talking about walking into the hut of Komnene the witch… that alone is a sign that you let go of this plan and think of something else, second… you are trying to force Hex to come to you? You might as well take your own life."
Eryth scoffed. "I'm gonna forget the second part of your sentence and ask," he shook his head, evidently tired of hearing people say Hex can't be defeated. "Why is Komnene a sign that we should not go on with our plan?"
"Komnene is a living being that's for sure, but no one knows what she is as she has been in the valley between the forest of the living and the Hecahiyk for over a million years, even the gods do not meddle or mistakenly ride in her direction."
The dark brown-haired man stopped and turned to Grevla before turning back to Trippier. "Then the gods are scared— not being able to tame a mere witch is a disgrace."
"You should be scared too, she probably already sees and hears what we speak about here." He turned to Grevla. "I suggest we head back, my lady. You will need to be alive if we are fighting against Hex."
"Fear is an illusion, an illusive domain we trap our mind in to get away from things," said Eryth. "Someone told me that, and I still believe in those words."
"Now I'm going to get to 'whatever her name is' witch hut, and I'm going to get the book, and then I'll beat the shit god complexity out of Hex's mind with or without both of you."
There was a bit of silence before Djibril sighed. "You are crazy."
"Many have told me that."
"Please, lead us Trippier. You don't have to follow us in, just the way would suffice."
"There's no need to walk further, you are already here," a voice echoed through their mind.
Before the three could make sense of what was happening the interior of a hut formed out of thin air around the trees. They now stood in the middle of the hut which was made simple with shelves containing books and potions all around and a small table with a dead Living on it a few steps from them.
"What do you think of my home?"
The trio veered around to see a woman staring with a small smile on her lips. She was light-skinned with orange eyes and hair that stretched down to her knee pit. She wore a large green gown that covered every part of her body excluding her face. She was beautiful, but not the most beautiful.
"It is beautiful," Trippier replied.
"As it should be. It would be disappointing if it wasn't, especially after working on it for over a century."
The witches moved her eyes to Grevla. "What say you?"
"It's perfect," she smiled.
"And you?" Her eyes moved to Eryth.
He held her stare for a moment before speaking. "I actually believe you should have done better with it…"
"What are you doing?" Trippier tried to stop him, but Eryth continued.
"Especially since you've been here for over a million years." He folded his arms and looked around the place. "I surely would have done a better job then this."
Komnene's face remained indifferent as she looked at Eryth.
