With a snap of his fingers, Discord appeared, a sly grin plastered on his face. “Yes? What’s all the fuss about?”
“YOU were the one who awoke V-ger?” Fluttershy accused, her eyes blazing with anger.
“V-ger? What’s a V-ger?” Discord feigned ignorance, tilting his head.
“The big thing inside the Borg tactical sphere! The one that looks like this!” Jeremy exclaimed, gesturing animatedly.
“Oh, that thing? I thought it was just a giant TV satellite!” Discord replied, shrugging nonchalantly.
“Dude, you need to ask!” Jeremy shot back, frustration creeping into his voice.
Still fuming, Fluttershy grabbed Discord by the neck, her grip firm and unyielding. “Do you realize that if they weren’t here, we would all be fucking assimilated by now? With nanoprobes in our bodies and God-awful cybernetic implants, some of which, if removed, are probably fatal?”
Discord’s playful demeanor faltered as the gravity of her words sank in. “No… Oh shit. I… I screwed up, didn’t I?”

Unless you can prove to me that you’ve learned your lesson. Those friends you claim to care for could have been assimilated—Fluttershy included.”
Discord gulped, his bravado evaporating. The gravity of Jeremy’s words hit him hard. He doubled over, grabbing a nearby wastebasket as nausea washed over him, and he heaved. “I had no idea it was that serious! I’m so sorry! I’ll ask before I go messing with things, I promise!”

“Very good, Rarity,” Jeremy replied, nodding in approval. He continued, “Would you like to read the rest of the chapter?”
“Sure!” Twilight chimed in, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. She took the pad from Pinkie and began to read aloud, her voice clear and measured. “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep…”

“But then Jesus had twelve disciples,” Jeremy continued, his tone turning more somber. “But one betrayed Him—his name was Judas Iscariot. When it came time for Passover, Jesus instructed His disciples, ‘Go and find a donkey that is tied up. If anyone asks you why you’re untying it, tell them the Master has need of it.’ So, they brought the donkey colt, and Jesus rode in, while His disciples laid their cloaks down and others laid down palm branches, celebrating His arrival.”
Twilight tilted her head, fascinated. “And what happened next?”
Jeremy took a deep breath. “They made ready for the feast in the upper room. This next part is where we get communion from,” he explained, his voice steady but filled with reverence. “During the Last Supper, Jesus took bread, and after giving thanks, He broke it and said, ‘This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’”
“Remembrance?” Rarity echoed, her brow knitted in thought. “What does that mean?”
“It means to honor and remember His sacrifice,” Jeremy clarified. “Then, He took the cup and said, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.’ This act established communion, a way for us to remember the bond we share through His sacrifice.”
Fluttershy looked pensive. “So, every time people share communion, they’re remembering Jesus?”

“Not like a zombie, Pinkie!” Jeremy chuckled softly. “He still had His wounds, but He was very much alive, and He went to find His disciples. Meanwhile, the Pharisees and the scribes had paid Judas thirty pieces of silver for betraying Jesus. Overwhelmed with guilt, Judas threw the silver back at them and hung himself.”
Rarity gasped, her hand covering her mouth. “That’s so tragic…”
Jeremy nodded, continuing, “They took the place where he died and made it a potter’s field, a burial ground for the poor. Jesus was gone, and when His mother and a family friend came to visit the tomb, they found the stone rolled away. They were terrified but hopeful.”
“And then?” Fluttershy asked, her voice barely a whisper.
“An angel appeared to them and said, ‘Why do you seek the living among the dead?’” Jeremy recounted, his tone uplifting. “It was a powerful moment, filled with hope. Jesus had defeated death, and His resurrection was proof of that victory!”
“Wow,” Zack said, leaning forward. “That’s incredible! He didn’t just come back; He conquered death itself.”

Jeremy: "Exactly. Those who lived righteously waited for the Messiah, and when Jesus died and descended, he freed them from that waiting place."

Jeremy: "Yes! He took on all our sins. After he died, he descended to the realm of the dead and declared victory over sin and death. His resurrection opened the gates of heaven for everyone who believed in him."

Twilight Sparkle raised her hoof. “So, it’s kind of like using facts and knowledge to support your faith, right?”

God had grown tired of humanity’s wickedness, but there was one man He noticed—Noah. Noah was diligent, dutiful, and faithful to God. Because of this, God decided to spare Noah and his family from the flood He was going to send to cleanse the earth.”

“Exactly,” Jeremy confirmed. “God told Noah to build an Ark with very specific measurements: 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 40 feet tall. It was massive! This Ark was meant to save Noah, his family, and a pair of every kind of animal from the coming flood.”

Jeremy nodded. “Noah had help from his sons—Shem, Ham, and Japheth. They worked together for many years to build it, and eventually, they were able to complete the Ark. Then, just as God had said, pairs of animals started coming to the Ark, and Noah and his family brought them on board.”
Applejack raised an eyebrow. “Hold on a minute, Jeremy. How did all them animals fit on that Ark? And what did they do about food for all those critters?”
Jeremy smiled. “Great question, Applejack. God had everything planned out. The Ark was big enough to hold the animals, and Noah was instructed to bring enough food for both his family and the animals. It wasn’t easy, but they were prepared for the journey.”
Fluttershy’s soft voice chimed in. “That must have been so difficult…taking care of all those animals. But it’s wonderful that God wanted to save them too.”
Jeremy nodded warmly. “Exactly, Fluttershy. God cares about all His creatures, and that’s why the animals were part of the plan too.”
Discord, always one to add a little mischief, leaned in with a sly grin. “So, Jeremy, what happened to everyone else? Sounds like quite the flood.”
Jeremy’s tone became more serious. “Sadly, those who didn’t follow God’s ways were caught in the flood. The rain came down for 40 days and nights, and the waters rose, covering the earth. The Ark, with Noah, his family, and the animals, floated above the floodwaters until they eventually came to rest on Mount Ararat once the waters receded.”
Rarity shivered slightly. “That’s quite a somber story, but I suppose it teaches a valuable lesson about faith and obedience.”
Jeremy nodded. “It does. Noah’s Ark is a powerful story of faith, obedience, and God’s mercy. Despite humanity’s failure, God gave Noah and his family a fresh start after the flood. And the rainbow that appeared afterward was a sign of God’s promise never to flood the earth like that again.”
Pinkie Pie bounced in excitement again. “Ooooh, I love rainbows! So the rainbow is like a happy reminder from God?”
“Exactly!” Jeremy smiled. “It’s a reminder of God’s faithfulness and His promise. And that’s why the story of Noah’s Ark is still so important today.”

Jeremy chuckled. “I imagine it’s filled with joy, laughter, and love. Picture a grand feast with all your friends and loved ones celebrating together. It’s a place where sorrow and pain don’t exist—only pure happiness.”

Pete rushed in, a look of urgency on his face. “Jeremy, there’s some crazy-looking undead pony attacking Ponyville!”
Jeremy raised an eyebrow. “Describe her to me.”
“Long purple hair, sharp teeth, kind of insectoid eyes?” Pete replied, clearly unsettled.
“Yep, that sounds like Chrysalis,” Jeremy confirmed. “We need to act fast. Beam her aboard and put her in the brig!”
With a nod, Pete quickly activated the ship's teleportation system. In an instant, Chrysalis materialized in the brig, her menacing appearance contrasting sharply with the brightly colored decor of the ship.
Jeremy walked up to the brig and looked through the bars. “Chrysalis, what are you doing attacking Ponyville? This isn’t the way to go about things.”
Chrysalis hissed, baring her sharp teeth. “You think you can just imprison me? I will have my revenge on the ponies!”
Pete glanced at Jeremy. “What’s the plan? Do we try to reason with her?”
Jeremy nodded thoughtfully. “We might need to. But we should also prepare for anything. Chrysalis has a reputation for being tricky.”
“Good idea,” Pete said, stepping back to gather some tools. “Let’s keep an eye on her while we come up with a strategy.”
