What an annoying noise I think to myself, eyes opening glancing at my own phone. A picture of Taylor looking back at me and the clock showing me it's 7 am. It's barely light, and my body clock tells me to sleep. I gaze over at the window thinking of Taylor and the cherry trees, her hair which I used to run my fingertips through and the way she never set an alarm.

Confused, I try to turn the alarm off on my phone but there's no alert because it's not my phone making the noise. I place my phone back down. Turning over and remembering the events of last night; Olivia, the wine and the sex. How unusual it is for me to not have to worry about impregnating somebody after sex, I almost laugh but hold myself together. I must behave and be nice Matthew today.

I pull the towel off of the hook and hand her one first, getting out and drying myself with the second. I wrap it around my waist and she follows me down the hall back to my room.

I dress as if she isn't there, putting on aftershave and pushing my wet hair back. I head to the small wardrobe and pull the doors open. Grabbing a black v neck jumper and yet another pair of Levi's. She gets up silently and goes down to retrieve her uniform. I sit on the bed and grab my phone. Maybe I laid it on a little bit thick in the shower. I should have been more casual about the whole thing.

"Nine" she says and I look down at my phone, she's pissed at me. She's being short with me and it aggravates me. She glances over my shoulder at my phone, my wallpaper is me kissing Taylor, still. She huffs slightly and looks away. The tension between us is high. And had I of just been taken out for dinner, had my virginity taken and been pleasured in the shower in the morning, with no expectation of doing anything back. I wouldn’t be picking at straws.
