Alvin was commentating on the chess match. At first glance, it seemed like a regular game of chess, but with one major difference - it was a metaphysical match. Alvin stepped forward and gave the signal to start, beginning his narration:
Al: "As the game began, the pieces started to move. Now, dear viewers, we are about to witness an enchanting game of chess! On the right, representing White, is the Wind Wizard Merlin, and on the left, representing Black, is the Earth Lord Kasparov! Each move is creating a tremendous wave of energy, turning this battle of pieces into a clash of natural forces!"
Alpha: "Only you could pull off such a spectacle."
Luna: "Wait! I haven't seen Merlin this enthusiastic in a long time."
Violet: "Enthusiastic? How so?"
Luna: "Merlin played his last match against Oliver Carpenter. It was the only game he lost because Oliver was his favorite student. Beating him deeply angered Merlin."
Violet: "So, that's what you mean by enthusiastic."
Al: "Ladies, I can't focus if you keep talking!"
Alpha: "Carry on; it's getting exciting."
Al: "Kasparov grinned and boldly pushed his piece forward. Look, the Water Nymph, representing White's ocean, is swiftly advancing towards the opponent's piece! But wait a minute, Merlin is summoning the power of the White Dragon! Flames from the sky engulf the Water Nymph, turning her into vapor! What a magnificent move!"
V: I think I've found something new to teach me.
M: Watch and learn, baby.
K: Less talk, more play, wizard.
M: Aren't you skilled enough to do both, Furry Butt?
K: I'll beat you, Old Dumbledore!
V: Look ahead!
M: I can even win with my eyes closed.
Merlin closed his eyes and continued to play, relying entirely on his instincts. Alvin continued narrating nervously.
Al: Wow! The Wizard takes a step forward, raising the stakes. Kasparov looks tense. The Wind Sorcerer, Merlin, seems to be seriously challenging the Earth Lord, but the Earth Elemental responds with determination. Now, things are getting even more complicated! Kasparov moves the Magical Tower of black, and look, it's coming towards the Air Sorcerer! But what happens? The Air Sorcerer escapes as if carried away by the wind, and the tower only hits a cloud filled with wind! Enjoy the escape!
Merlin: "Hahaha, my mind never fails me, whether my eyes are open or shut!"
Violet: "My hero, Houdini." playful
Alpha: "Show-off."
Luna: "But, if this result is any indication, you should reconsider making Kasparov the guardian. Look at how it's turning out."
Alpha: "It's not over yet."
Al: With a confident smile, Merlin boldly moves his piece forward. The Earth Lord, known as the master of Black Flames, communicates with the fire elemental and appears to be devising a new strategy. Now, the conflict between the pieces intensifies even further! This is truly a breathtaking match!
Al: This might be the match I've done commentary for and got the most excited about!
V: You got some work to do too, Alvin.
L: That's his hobby, wherever there's mischief, Alvin is there.
Alpha: What can you say to the truth?
Al: It looks like Kasparov has one final move left! The Earth Lord, after one last effort, is pushing Wind Sorcerer to the edge!
L: Merlin is cornered; the slightest mistake, and we'll have to backtrack our journey.
V: What does that mean now?
Alpha: You didn't think I would have such a simple chess enchantment here, did you? If you win the match, Kasparov will complete the spell and can stay inside as long as Harley permits. But if you lose, it will erase the way you came and take you back to one day before you set out.
V: That's a cruel locking system.
L: When we said Harley had a monster guarding it, what did you think?
V: Maybe a dragon.
Suddenly, Alvin yelled, and he continued:
Al: However, there's a surprising development! Merlin sacrifices the Wind Sorcerer, the White's Vizier! And Earth Lord withdraws in astonishment! Merlin's White Queen defeats Earth Lord, and he wins this epic chess match!
Hooray! Merlin had won the match, and it was such a proud and joyful moment for me. We locked eyes, and I ran up to hug him.
