Day 3 of living with Lucy and Luna, and Jackson is dead. Honestly I felt kind of bad for him, but it didn't matter too much because he reminded me of someone named Ahmihr from my old school (who later disappeared and was never found). Lucy and I looked at each other in fear. "What if somebody sees Jackson's body and gets the wrong idea?" Lucy said. "I don't know," I replied. "But what I do know is that we can feed his body to Luna." Lucy looked at me in disgust. "Joking." I said laughing slightly. "This is no time to kid around," Lucy said. "Jackson was my cousin." "Oh." I said not batting an eye. Luna backed away from me and into the corner. "Don't worry Luna, I won't make you eat him." Lucy took Jackson's body outside and buried it far away from the cabin with two sticks tied together in the dirt in the shape of a cross to mark his grave. We went back to the cabin and Lucy and I investigated where Jackson died. There was a puddle of blood underneath him and Lucy began to wonder if the werewolves got in. Lucy left the room Jackson died in and never entered it again. She moved into the other empty room next to mine and locked the old room. Two years later, Lucy had opened up more and we talked to each other like we were blood siblings. A few months before present time it was Lucy's 16th birthday and by this time we were almost never exposed to society and other people. We celebrated Lucy's birthday by going to a Coffee House, and we spent most of the day there. On our way home Lucy wanted to stop by the river because she hadn't seen it since before Jackson died, but I talked her out of it, so we went straight home. When we got home we ate and went to sleep, but something strange happened. I told Luna what happened to Jackson and how he died even though I wasn't there. "I just somehow knew." I explained to Luna. I told Luna that Jackson's face had been shredded with a cheese grater and that his shoulder had been dislodged. I told her that the reason his face rotted so face was due to the heat and a few flies that later died in his body. Luna looked at me and put her ears and tail down. Luna jumped out the window and never came back. I explained to Lucy that Luna had run away, but later that night I snuck out and found Luna. Half an hour later, I came home drenched in something and I then took my clothes off and threw them in the river like I had the "first time" and cleaned myself up. After that, I climbed in my bed and fell asleep. A few months later, hours before the present time, Lucy begged me to take her to the river. I did, but I got distracted.. I made a slip up, and that is when Lucy found it. Lucy found the backpack from when we first met filled with my clothes that I was wearing on the day that Jackson died and next to it, found my clothes from when Luna disappeared snagged on a rock nearby. "You killed them," she said. "It was you, you, all you!" And here we are in present time, I'm Emma, age 14 running away from Lucy, and I did it, I killed them both. Lucy transformed into a wolf and chased after me. "I guess I wasn't the only one keeping secrets." I whispered in a crazy laugh, and then I jumped into the nearby tree. It's over for you, I said. "Whatever reason you may have for hiding here, it doesn't matter. You will always be alone and afraid, no one to find you and you are on the run. Goodbye." And then I jumped out of the tree and ran off. {Narration change} Just then, as Emma was running away I came running from out of the bushes. "Luna?!" Emma said to me. "I thought I killed you, a werewolf, I thought I got you out of the way!" As I stood up, I smiled at Emma. "Emma," I said. "That wasn't me you killed, it was your wolf self, and we aren't called werewolves, we're not monsters. We're called Caninian (K9-E-an) Fresko (fruh-esk-O), which in English stands for Changing Spotties (CS) or otherwise known as breed changers, but you can just call us Swiftspots, we call ourselves that. Besides, you won't be alive long enough to call us anything you dirtbag." "But I don't understand," Emma said. "The wolf I saw was you, I killed you, did I not?" "Did you listen to anything I just said or do you have brain damage." I said smacking my head. "No," Emma replied stupidly. "And that makes no sense. I'm human, I can't be a Swiftspot because I would've transformed into one of you disgusting creatures already." I said in response to this dumb remark "Not necessarily. You can become a Swiftspot from any age of 8 to 18 depending on your gender." Lucy looked at me. "Why are you telling a killer all of our secrets?" She said, wearing a worried expression on her face. "Because," I said smiling, "the only one that is alone here is infact Emma. She has no where to go, and in a few moments here if she does somehow escape death, she will have no one to tell this to." And with that Emma nods her head in acceptance of death at the mercy of one hungry wolf. "We are all Swiftspots." I said. "We just have to be lucky enough to unlock our inner wolf." And with that, we took Emma's life with no remorse just like she had done to Jackson.
