I know I've had a few more beers, I lost count. I won't be able to drive my car home. Which is frustrating I would rather have the ability to drive to Taylor’s should jealous ex boyfriend turn up. I was supposed to bring the car here in order to make me not drink too much and to use it as a reason to leave by like eight. Like a decent normal guy would do, who doesn't have to get drunk.

Day one of trying to be good enough for this girl is going to have to begin tomorrow. I think about her, like I can stop myself. I imagine what she might be doing; maybe she's watching one tree hill in bed, or singing and playing guitar. I briefly imagine her singing me to sleep.

Her voice is great I didn't expect that, I've never been musical myself. She was stunning singing that song. I usually listen to loud music, anything from classic rock to drum and bass. But I appreciated all of her music. It strikes me that I've never appreciated a girl in that way before. Maybe I've never really given them a chance.

Jen and Rach are dancing around Brad and Stiffy, it looks as though something may be going on with them. They look like idiots. They can't dance whatsoever. I laugh though they're having a good time.

I find myself checking my phone. She hasn't replied to me at all. That's different. Usually girls text me back. If I don’t reply to them it’s always problem. I tell myself to calm down, reminding myself how it felt to hold her for an hour in her kitchen. How it felt for her to trust me enough to tell me about her past with her ex.
