Alice would wake up in the morning around eight am. She would yawn trying to stretch back to life when she would smell the sweet scent of pancakes, syrup, fresh fruit, and other breakfast items. She would then head out to see what the smell was about and so she walked down the spiral stairs and to the kitchen. Lots of warm food and cold beverages were laid out on the long dining table but most importantly Sakura. Sakura was dressed formally in a white button-up shirt and black dress pants and her usual black long hair was up in a ponytail. Alice would blush feeling a bit out of place with her white gown that she had changed into later last night when Sakura left and she could not sleep. "G-goodmorning.." She said and smiled nervously at her. Sakura would perk up and smile back at her. She knew the scent of the food would lead Alice to the kitchen she assumed the poor girl must have been starving and so she ordered the maids to cook lots of food for her. The maids were astonished to see that there was someone in the young master's life that actually made her happy again so they had worked their very best. "Good morning! How did you sleep? Oh please sit." Sakura would motion to the chair next to her and Alice would sit awkwardly. Sakura would begin eating and she would motion Alice to eat as well. Alice could not lie, she was starving and so she began eating. She piled a bit of food on her plate and ate what was there. She ate very little because that was all that she needed Sakura would look at her with a bit of concern when she saw there was not much food on Alice's plate but decided not to question it as she did not want to seem pushy or overbearing. They would eat in silence until Alice saw Sakura's cup that was filled to the brim with a red liquid. "I-is that..?" Alice pointed to the cup as she spoke. Sakura would look at her and the cup then she would chuckle a bit. "No, it's only a substitute to fulfill my need for blood." She'd gesture to the cup a bit and then to her fangs so Alice could see why she needed it so much and to show the fact that she was indeed not a human. "Are you going to kill me.?" Alice would ask with fear in her eyes. Sakura would choke on her food a bit. "Goodness! Of course not! I am not very fond of the sight of human organs and such but sometimes I am required to kill in order to keep demons in line." Alice would shudder at this but she'd answer politely not sure of what to say "I hate the smell of blood and the viscosity of it as well." She'd scrunch up her nose in a way that Sakura found adorable but she would not comment on it at all instead she spoke in a soft voice. "Well, you get used to it after a while" Alice would nod a bit not knowing what to say very well. "Um, so I was thinking...if i'm going to live here I should probably start working right?" She'd ask fidgeting with her fingers. Sakura would chuckle a bit, a chuckle that made Alice tremble to her core and make her blush as she saw how beautiful Sakura's smile was. "Alicia, dear, you don't have to work. Demons here can be brutal and either way you have been through enough, Alice. It's not easy to adjust to the underworld trust me." She'd smile sadly. Sakura was taken from her mother as well she was young when it happened and slowly but surely she climbed her way up in society there in the underworld. She now had no memory of her mother sadly but she was a bit happy where she was or at least she tried to be. Alice would stay quiet for a bit and then she'd inhale sharply "Well, I might as well be useful right?" She'd pull away the piece of clothing that covered her neck and nodded giving her a small sign to go ahead. Sakura would hesitate for a bit but eventually she'd reach out grabbing her shoulder softly and biting on her neck but injecting a venom that eased the pain. Alice only trembled as she felt Sakura bite down on her neck. It felt strange but did not hurt. Once Sakura was done she'd softly kiss over the area that she bit down on and smiled at her. It was the best blood she had ever tasted but she did not bring it up instead she simply asked. "Do you know your blood type?" She'd then rest her face on her hands paying close attention to Alice. "No. Why is it not good?" She'd ask a bit freaked out. If Sakura did not like her blood what else could she do? She could not work and she could not fulfill Sakura's needs she hated that, she hated feeling useless. She hated having to rely on others. Sakura would chuckle "No. You taste amazing just thought i'd ask." She'd smile and finish eating after a bit and Alice would too. Alice was a bit suspicious of Sakura but then again who wouldn't be? She had just met her and she was afraid but there was something. Just a small feeling that sent shivers down her spine and wouldn't leave. Instead it lingered. So she spoke she talked and tried to keep the conversation going so maybe the feeling would go away but it was always there. "So, um, I need new clothes would there be a way I could get any, maybe..?" She'd ask grabbing on the rim of the night gown. "Of course. I'll call my personal dressmaker." Sakura would smile softly and Alice would gulp. How could she ever fit in? She was so...heavenly. (No pun intended) And Alice was a simple girl who lived most of her life scrapping up money with her mother so they could make ends meet. Sakura lived such a lavish life and she...she was nothing. Instead she'd nod. Just a small quiet nod that made her seem more timid than she was but a nod that granted her silence. Sakura would then lead her to a room. A room with the same golden rose pattern and a couch in the middle of it. There was also a clothing screen to change behind and a closet filled to the brim with clothes. The room was a bit messy with shelves filled with fabric and a sewing machine and all kinds of materials and silks and jewels. Bright sparkly jewels. There was a big window that let you see outside and there was a garden. Just on the other side and it was filled with artificial light that acted like the sun and some of that light shined into the room and shined right past the pink curtains. She gasped when she walked in. Her mother loved to garden. It was one of the many things she learned to do with her. She'd walk in and sit with Sakura trying so hard to have a small conversation with her until the dressmaker got there and once they did she was measured and looked at and judged. She did not really like the feeling but she was alright with it, still confused nonetheless. Once the measuring was over and the dressmaker got to work she'd sit on the couch with Sakura and Sakura would chuckle a bit at the way she looked so confused while being measured. "You did great." Alice would scoff and chuckle with her. Later, the dress was made. A light pink dress with straps to hold it up on her body and a small v neck that showed some of her chest. The dress was made of silk and was short reaching somewhere near her knees. She'd look like a princess as she twirled in the mirror while Sakura watched her and smiled her cheeks a soft shade of red, barely noticeable. She loved it. She'd hug Sakura thankful for the dress. "Thank you." She whispered in Sakura's ear and smiled before she let go.
