I stared at the ceiling, surrounded by silence. I lifted my head to glance at the man beside me. He was asleep. I waved my at the front of his face to check whether he is really sound asleep. After making sure of it I started to execute my plan. I picked up his phone that he had kept along with his wallet. Usually they don't allow phones or any communication devices. This client is a VIP. The fucking paedophiles are always rich.
With the phone in my hand I tiptoed silently and opened the wardrobe. Emmylin sat there midst the slutty dresses, her hand joined eyes closed praying. I am falling in love with her.
Upon seeing me, she jumped upright before she could open her mouth I clamped her mouth.
"Shh…dont make a sound" my voice was a hushed tone.
I grabbed her and charged towards the bathroom. I closed the bathroom behind the doors. I drew the lock pattern that I had learnt sneakily when he attended a phone call.
Emmylin dictated the number and I pressed the call button. At the third ring he picked the call.
"Hello" his voice was deep and cold.
"Hello, Steven Hades?!" I checked for assurance.
"Yeah"
"I have Emmylin with me." I stated.
"You blood shit, give her back or I will-" he started a string of profanity and the phone almost slipped out of my hands.
"Shut up, I am here to bloody help you to get her" I snapped at him rudely. He shut his mouth. I regretted it later as I acted without understanding his feeling. The feeling of losing someone.
"Who are you?" He rasped. A slight ray of hope in his voice.
"Listen to me carefully, I don't have much time. You need to come to the Red Street armed today afternoon. You need to enter motel number 18 and book for Cathy Logan. You need to pay them some money. Then you meet me in room number 102. We will discuss the plan later" I explained to him and he hummed in response.
Just as I was about to say bye and cut the phone his voice piped in.
"Is she alright?." He was tensed.
"Yes" I replied. His brotherly concern overwhelming me a little.
"Is she near you?. Can I please talk to her" his voice was so urgent. But I can't risk this. I can't risk waking him up.
"Sorry, I don't have time. Bye" I turned down the call immediately. Emmylin looked at me with sad eyes. I feel like a bitch for not letting them talk.
"I am sorry, you will go back to your home today." I assured her but her eyes stayed on my exposed neck adorned with hickeys and marks. She traced her little finger over it.
"Why did he hurt you?" Her voice was soft as feather.
"He did not hurt me" I lied. Each mark was a memory of how scarred my heart is. But these fade away but the scars of the heart remains there. My sanity also fades away along with these hickeys within a few days.
"Will he hurt me also?" Her question broke my heart.
"Not till I am here" I hugged her close placing a kiss on the top of her head.
I got up from the toilet seat and opened the door gently. Without making another sound I made Emmylin sit inside the wardrobe. I placed back the phone. I joined him in the bed back after removing the robe. I pulled the sheet to cover my naked body.
After half an hour, the man beside me woke up. He checked the time and got out of the bed. The bed creaked.
"It's time for me to leave" he picked up his shirt from the floor. I too got up from the bed and threw his pants to him. I picked up his coat and helped him to wear. I put back the seductive expression.
"This is our little secret" I tightened his tie and pecked his lips. "I hope you won't tell this to anyone" I pecked the corner of his mouth. His hold on my hips tightened.
"I won't tell this to anyone if I can get more again" he demanded and bile rose in me.
"Not now little boy, not now" I made my voice sluttier.
"Vincent, the name is Vincent" he muttered and tried to inch closer but I pushed him off from him.
"The time is up, get out before they suspect anything". I pushed him to the door. I gave the bugger one more kiss and bid him goodbye. I looked at the time. Its nearly after noon.
Amy rushed into the room and I was glad that she was on time. I opened the wardrobe to see Emmylin sleeping. Amy scooped her in her arms.
"Did Rob suspect a thing?" I applied the concealer to hide the hickeys.
"No, but hurry up" Amy advised and I nodded my head. Amy mumbled a bye and exited with Emmylin. Amy and Emmylin will wait for me in the quarters.
After adjusting my robe I went to my room. Rob was not there meaning he had gone to fetch the client. I hope it's Steven or else all this facade will fall. I sat there in the bed nervous for the first time. My toes curled in anticipation. If he does not come now then Emmylin... No,no
Just then the door opened revealing Steven. I let out a breath of relief. He was finally here. He closed the door behind him.
"Where is she" his eyes searched for Emmylin.
"Please calm down and sit here, I will explain" I tried to cool him down. He was so restless. He sat there with an arm distance from me.
"Emmylin is not here, but she is safe and not harmed." I clarified him. His tensed shoulder eased a little.
"See, I have a plan. If we are careful we can succeed it or else we are dead" I explained to him. In the next hour we discussed the routes.
"I have to handle her to the men after noon, that is soon after this " I saw a muscle in his jaw ticking. "After this I am going to get her from the quarter while you take the shortcut beside the dildo shop, take a left from the condom Street and arrive behind the Red Grounds. There is a two storey house out there. They will receive Emmylin there. Before I get there with Emmylin I need you be there." His eyes were concentrated on me. I opened the drawer and picked my gun. I placed it in his hands.
"I want you to knock them out first and then me. There are cameras out there in the room. You need to cover your face. Don't shoot them dead. The red street will hunt you down for taking its men's life. Just knock them down. I will try to fight you off but you need to overpower me. Knock me out of my conciousness and then flee from there."He clutched the gun in his, getting familiarized with it. But he seems to know what he is doing. The gun looks like it belonged in his hands.
"I can't knock you down, I won't hit a girl" his dark eyes were firm.
"If you want Emmylin then you need to, or else it will end up hurting both of us" I insisted him, with uncertainty he nodded after thinking for sometime.
I looked at the time, it was almost time. We have only five minutes more. Steven was staring at the ground processing everything. His shoulders were rigid. He balled the bed sheet in his fist indicating his agression.
"You need to leave" I stated. He got up in instant and started to walk away. Suddenly it clicked in me. Before he could reach for the door I grabbed him by his collar pulling him closer until our chest touched each other.
I didn't wait to see the shocked expression in his face before I crashed my lips on his. I tangled my fingers in his dark locks. The hair silky against my finger. My other hand unbuttoned his shirt halfway. Before he could protest I pushed him away.
His lips were swollen, hair messy, shirt unbuttoned and a lost look on his face.
"Perfect" I smirked. "Adjust your shirt and zipper while you get out, it should be clear that we were doing what exactly we should be"

"Steven came!?" Emmylin was exited and happy. She was jumping all the way down our walk to the Red Ground. Her eyes were twinkling. She was energetic. I am kind of upset that I can't see her anymore and that I should retire to hugging my pillow instead like old days. She would no more be there. It's only 2 days and she has grown on me.
"Will he take me home now itself" she kicked a stone that lied on the path.
"Yeah kiddo, he will" but nonetheless I was happy. She is going to be saved. She wouldn't be stuck in this hell and left to rot. She will be back with him.
"Cat?" she called out the nickname she gave me yesterday midnight. I looked down at her.
"Will you also come with us. Our house is not too big but we have more than enough space for you" my heart clenched at her proposal. She wanted me with her. Despite being a screw up some one wants me in their life. She thinks I am worth being a part of her life.
"You can live with us. Stevie and I never had someone other than our mother who loved us in our house. I know you love me. You hurt yourself for me. Just like mommy when I was born. She too hurted herself but she died. Stevie always says she died because she loves us way too more than her own life" her voice cracked somewhere and I felt my broken heart scattering into thousand of peices.
"I can't come with you" I swallowed the lump in my throat.
"I am fine here" I assured her when she pouted at me.
"But-" I hushed her. We have reached there. I stopped walking and bent down to her height.
"See doll" I cupped her face in my hand. "We are going to play a game" I rubbed her arms.
"What games!" Her eyes lit up.
"An adventurous game. Steven and I will be in opposite teams. You will be in Steven's team. He will fight with the bad guys and me. Then if he wins he will use sleeping spell on me and will rescue you" the lie flew through my mouth.
"So you will sleep like sleeping beauty" her eyes were wide. She is killing me with cuteness. I nodded my head.
"That's so mean of Stevie" she complained.
"Its just a game doll" I shrugged my shoulder.
"Still, mommy wouldn't like that" she crossed her arms.
"Mommy knows it's for the best" I blurted out. Emmylin looked at me confused. Before she could say anything I scooped her in my arms.
"No matter what happens don't come close to me. I am your rival. Don't make a sound" I warned her.
"Will you come and visit me when you wake up?" The corner of my heart tugged at her question.
"If you don't, I will sent Stevie to kiss you and wake you up"
Her words brought a smile to my face but I quickly replaced it with a blank look. I gazed at the two storey house.
"Ready?"
