Now I'm in the wild, age 11, and I'm not even a teen yet. I feel like I'm trapped in a cage with no where to go. "Now there is a whole government of werewolves searching for me and I'm alone, no way to protect myself." I looked at the trees of the forest and said "Okay this is it. I better find a way to know where I'm going in this place." As I walked into the forest, I noticed a stray dog following me. It had big paws and gray fur that glimmered in the sunlight. It was so beautiful that I wondered if it was real. I named the stray Luna and continued to walk with her in the forest. Once it was about 11am, (an estimate) Luna and I found an abandoned campsite and about 10 meters from it was an abandoned cabin. First, we went into the cabin where we saw another girl hiding. Her name was Lucy she explained to me, and then she said something interesting. "I know that we just met and that this sounds crazy, but I saw my friend James transform into a wolf and now I am on the run because his family saw me and now there is a government of wolves after me. Please don't tell anyone." I felt skeptical. I wondered why all of a sudden somebody I just met would tell me that, but I basically told her that the same thing happened to me. She said that I was welcome to stay there, but then all of a sudden, a boy ran out of a room and snatched my backpack. "Jackson!" Lucy said. "It's okay she's fine to trust." "I don't care," he replied. "I just wanted the supplies so we could survive." "Hey that's mine!" I exclaimed in a bit of a confused tone. "Give it back," Lucy said in a slightly monotonous voice sounding quite dull. "Or you know what I'LL do." "Fine," Jackson said sounding defeated. "But don't think I trust this hobo." "I'M NOT A HOBO!" I said in a defensive (and slightly foolish) voice. Then Luna ran over and grabbed the backpack using her mouth. Luna barked once loudly, and then everyone went silent. Luna brought the backpack back to me and I patted her on the head. "Thank you." I said as if she could reply to me. After that, Lucy (and Jackson reluctantly) showed Luna and I around the cabin. "We don't have electricity, water, or anything like that here," Lucy explained. "And we have to steal in order to survive. I nodded my head in understanding. Then Jackson butted in: "We don't need EVERYTHING we steal," he said as if that was relevant to the conversation. "And by the way, we don't need help from some smelly girl who won't even share her supplies." I wanted to punch him at that moment, but I restrained myself and brushed off his remark. "I'm not stinky." I replied in a calm, collected voice, and that was the end of that conversation. "Anyway," Lucy interrupted as I glared at Jackson, "feel free to take one of the two empty rooms and to put supplies on the shelf as desired, you don't have to share all of them, but at least share two thirds of them." "Okay." I said while walking away to check the rooms out. After I found the room I wanted, (a small sqaure-shaped room with two windows) I set my stuff up and put my supplies into the supply room. Then, I walked back into the other room to talk to Lucy and Jackson (mainly I wanted to talk to Lucy, but Jackson is apart of this too). I asked them if they saw the campsite a few meters away and they said no, so we went to the campsite and took all of the supplies, we even took the tents! Luna looked at me with a doubtful eye, but happily trotted alongside us on our way back "home." By the time we got back, it was 9pm and my stomach growled because I hadn't eaten since yesterday at lunchtime. I asked them if we could eat and we split a can of uncooked carrots, (which I hate) but at least I wasn't hungry anymore. After that, Luna and I curled up on a flat air mattress with surprisingly clean pillows and blankets on it and went to sleep. In the middle of the night, Luna woke me up quietly because we heard something moving outside. I crawled all the way to Lucy and Jackson's room and asked if I could sleep there tonight because their room didn't have windows and we heard noises outside of my window. Luna looked at me wondering how they knew the noises we outside of the window, but curled up to go back to sleep next to me anyway. The next day when we woke up, Jackson was rolled over lying on the floor not moving. We figured he was still sleeping so we went to eat a can of cold spaghetti O's for breakfast and saved Jackson one third of the can. After that happened, we did work outside of the cabin and we tried to create a garden. Jackson never came out so we thought he was being lazy and didn't want to help. We didn't go back inside again until nighttime, which is when we noticed Jackson's food was still on the table. We ate more food and when we went in the room, Jackson was still rolled over sleeping. "We should wake him up," Lucy said. "He never sleeps this long." "He is probably sick or tired," I Inquired. "Let him sleep until tomorrow." The next day when I woke up I heard Lucy screaming. "What?!" I screamed over her. "J-J-Jackson..." I looked over at Jackson's dead, rotting face. Luna put her tail between her legs and looked down. "Jackson's dead." I said while looking a bit happy. "He's dead."
