Have you ever wondered any of life's unanswerable questions?
"What is the purpose of my existence?"
"Why do the good die young?"
"What is the meaning of life?"
“What happens after death?
“Does God exist?”
DEATH INC. provides answers to all these questions. Fictionally posing a new idea, which the story portrays as true.
The story begins with the narrator breaking down all humanity into two overall groups; group one and group two. Each group is dissected even more and placed into more specific sub-groups. Every group represents a different structure of beliefs and ideas regarding how humans perceive the unknown and unanswerable questions of the universe.
Chapter one:The narrator doesn’t leave out any description when covering several different religions, spiritualties and general ideologies of faith. The narrator covers everything starting with humanities very first idea, all the way up to the story’s present time (which remains unknown) breaking down each group’s beliefs and practices as they evolve over several thousands of years. Seemingly countless problems in logic are pointed, poking many holes into several of the ideas. The narrator ties the sub-groups back together into a single group of people coming to the same general conclusion. The group identified as the people of conclusion one.
Chapter2:The narrator descriptively discusses the second overall group. The people in this group go the opposite way from the previous group beliefs. Unlike group one, every human in group two is completely God free. The second group of people approach the vast unknown with beliefs in various scientific theories, existentialism or just simply believe in nothing at all. The narrator covers some the origins of these ideas and beliefs and also points out the holes in logic and weak spots. The narrator ties the sub-groups back together into a single group of people coming to the same general conclusion. This group is identified as the people of conclusion two.
After the first two chapters, the narrator goes directly into sharing universal secrets answering the unanswerable questions, with impeccable description and supporting facts. Explaining the mechanics of the universe, how creation fits into space and time, the series of events which birthed the universe and explaining existence completely. In a later part of the story the narrator reveals its identity not by a name, but by a job title- which is identified as a Reaper. The narrating Reaper continues its explanation of things in relation to the details of its identity, such as how a Reaper is one of three specific job titles. Each of these three titles play a pivotal role in a group of several other similar entities. Identified as DEATH INC., it is this groups job to control the death toll of humans in a carefully orchestrated and strategically planned out fashion, for reasons of extreme importance. DEATH INC. has several other death and life jobs, especially in areas dealing with the mechanics of the universe. One job in particular, holds a more sinister tone. This job can only be done by a Reaper. This is where the story turns dark.
“Yet ah! why should they know their fate?
Since sorrow never comes too late,
And happiness too swiftly flies.
Thought would destroy their paradise.
No more; where ignorance is bliss,
'Tis folly to be wise.”
