I love poetry, I love reading, hearing and writing poetry.

The only real restrictions are that of oneentry per person and nothing over a thousand words.

The topic can be anything near and dear to your heart, or something not so near. It can be in any style as well, and remember have fun!

Did you ever stop to listen a certain melody on the street? A simple busker in rags or an old woman playing a traditional folk?

It can be real or fictious, up to you.

Length is unlimited and 2 entries per writer/listener.

Surprise me how the music moves you or the character. :-)

Like the title says, what scares you the most?

any rating, any length.

Write a poem that shows who you are as a person. You may have as many words as you like and it can be any rating of your choosing. Just make sure if it's M-Rated that you specify in your description. You are allowed to submit as much as you want and judging will be creators pick. Have fun and get creative!

Poetry, at least in my opinion, is absolutely amazing.  However, I feel it's extremely underrated.  In my class even, everyone had said they didn't enjoy poetry at all, then we go ahead and read a poem and they loved it!

So, here's the point in this contest; it's simple...

And no, this time, I'm not going to answer any questions because this is POETRY.  Anything goes.  You don't have to rhyme, don't worry about your stanza's, this is free-poetry, do whatever you what.  So if you want to rhyme, or if you want it to be formal (Even a Haiku) then go ahead.

How much do we REALLY know of ghosts? Few and/or a bit? Well, do you recall the movie "The Others" with Nicole Kidman in the main role?

Imagine you have the ability to see and communicate with ghosts, what would you do? Or the opposite, how is it to be a ghost? Cold and frightful or confused and agressive... (No matter how the ghosts are good or bad but keep the rate in PG-13 level.) You are also allowed to use historical facts that has inpired you or true experience.
