The fact that the commentary is nearly balanced on both sides despite Karin’s feelings being the only ones that are canon as of now it’s equally remarkable. Because taking into account the type of character Sasuke is, it’s easy to see why Kishi uses third-party commentary as a narrative device to draw attention and give insight into Sasuke’s side of his bond with Karin.
