Walking down the road,

Hand in hand,

It has been six months since,

Now where is that hand?

Buried down somewhere for eternity, I think

It happened so fast and I didn't even have time to blink,

Now I'm standing on this ship which is ready to sink,

And the water is now upto the brink.

With a ring, I thought I had made a link,

But you proved me wrong,

Showed it was just a ring

And now all I have for company is my drink.

That hand, which was intertwined with mine,

Bestowed so many promises, and so many lies,

That eternity is a scam, and forever also dies,

Everything perishes, except this fine wine.
