There is a moment, 969Please respect copyright.PENANAJdFEul9gGo
A split second, 969Please respect copyright.PENANAts4p0Z5ahZ
Between birth, 969Please respect copyright.PENANAuE3iHgmjBs
And death, 969Please respect copyright.PENANAdArxMZVtIK
That is called life.
Everything you have ever done, 969Please respect copyright.PENANACT7vZ2m9zd
Everyone you have ever loved, 969Please respect copyright.PENANAuypkEOoT77
Everything, 969Please respect copyright.PENANAYjRbJ7Td90
Occurred in that moment.
Whether it be, 969Please respect copyright.PENANAlUcjre39P0
One year, 969Please respect copyright.PENANAhQezl6EaaP
Ten years, 969Please respect copyright.PENANAcQ7QUXbhZx
Fifty years, 969Please respect copyright.PENANA3CuSmjLGzs
Or a hundred,
It was only a moment. 969Please respect copyright.PENANAoc3XMS0iRa
But though that may be, 969Please respect copyright.PENANAdPkXwV032O
The nature of mortality, 969Please respect copyright.PENANAdP3J7YMksE
There is more to life, 969Please respect copyright.PENANAa2BQy1UNdA
Than death.
And though that might seem empty, 969Please respect copyright.PENANADRPtIBvmo7
Know that all life, 969Please respect copyright.PENANA6DIh131cwo
Exists the same, 969Please respect copyright.PENANA12Yv4icTAE
Ends the same.
So live your life, 969Please respect copyright.PENANAqnuYR1ud1Q
Because only you can live your moment.
The Nature of Mortality was inspired by that line in Interstellar (2014) where Matt Damon screams, "There is a moment-" and is imploded by incorrectly attaching an airlock. After all the jokes about the "genius astronaut who couldn't operate an airlock properly," I wrote the line on a piece of paper and stared at it for five minutes. And at the end of the five minutes, this happened. I hoped you liked it, despite the implications of it.
