A few days had passed, and Matthew was allowed to go home; while he was in the hospital, we moved some of his things over to my dorm to keep an eye on him. The doctors prescribed him antidepressants to take every day in the hopes of making him feel happier. His parents visited once but didn't stay for long because things began to get heated, so they left. The crew and I came after class to see him and did homework in his room. Things almost felt normal... Except for the fact that Matthew was in a hospital bed. When we left, we squeezed ourselves into Dan's Subaru with Matt in the passenger seat as I drove. I glanced over at him a couple of times when he looked back and laughed at Dan or Vicky making a stupid joke. It was nice being able to see him smile like he used to. Finally, we pulled into the parking lot of our dormitory.

"Hey, you know what is \weird..." Evelyn said, "The only people who have the same dorm are Sam and me. Everyone else lives in separate dorms."

"Well, we did all meet in college, except for Victoria and me. We met in high school." Matt stated, "So it's not like we met and asked to share a dorm. All of us already had our own spaces. Also, Dan lives in a house, so there's that."

I chuckled at his short temper before getting out of the car. We all walked up into my dorm, trying to be as quiet as possible, hoping not to disturb neighbors. I unlocked the door, and everyone went and sat down, whether it was on the couch, my bed, or the floor.

"Hey, I'm going to order a pizza because I'm hungry... and I have eaten since lunch," Matthew said, grabbing his phone from his pocket. "Does anyone want anything?"

I checked the time; it was 5 pm. I smiled and nodded. We ordered a pizza for us to share and continued to chat until it got here. Sam paid for the pizza and brought it back to the dorm.

"I don't know, and I missed like a week. I'm afraid people will like, judge me. On top of that, I need to catch up on homework and stuff." He said softly, taking another small bite.

"Hey," I said, grabbing his hand, "We're going to be with you through every step of the way, okay? And if people begin to judge you, I'll beat them up. I can also provide you with some of the notes from your classes that we share."

He smiled at me, and I smiled back. Then, I kissed him and grabbed a slice of pizza from the box.

It soon got late, and we were waving goodbye to our friends as they left. I closed the door and sighed. It had been a long week. I turned around, and Matthew was standing there looking at me, he smiled, and I walked to him and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around my neck, and I rested my chin on his head.

He nodded and left, and I laid down in my bed. I let out a yawn and closed my eyes, waiting for Matthew to come back. I felt my phone buzz in my pocket, and I checked to see who it was. Vicky had texted me saying that everyone made it back to their dorm safely, and she hoped Matthew and I had a good night's sleep. I smiled and said thanks and hoped she slept well. I got up and grabbed my backpack, and decided to do some studying. I pulled out my notebook and checked over some of my older notes, ensuring they were in order. I continued to study and wait until Matthew returned. After a while, I decided to put my books away and just lay in bed and wait for him. He walked back into my dorm only with basketball shorts on; I could see his ribs, and his arms looked skinny. I noticed the new bandages on his wrists. He gave me a sad smile when I made eye contact with him.

His smile got bigger, and he nodded. Matt walked over, and we both got under the covers. He wrapped his arms around me, and I pulled him closer. I kissed his forehead, whispered I love you in his ear. He laughed and said, 'I love you back.

My eyes closed, and everything felt okay. I smiled to myself. Everything was finally okay.
