Losing a fight was hard for her pride to take but with her father, it's almost like she expects to lose. I tended her wounds and soothed that wounded pride till she fell asleep in the morning she would need painkillers which I didn't have. So after assuring myself she was asleep I slipped out to head towards the nearest pharmacy store. However I didn't make it far when her father stepped out of his car, I was afraid before but now I'm just infuriated. I wasn't a violent person but he should have shown restraint, he didn't need to do that nor go so far.

He was right I didn't understand anything he said because I haven't been apart of that life. But Jyn is what matters to me and if the city has to burn to protect her, God will forgive me. I can't go against her wishes, I will support her and stand by her choices. I say that but the question continues to plague me as I continued to the pharmacy. There's a lot I don't understand about Jyn and her family I just know it's dangerous. I arrived home quicker than I realized my thoughts showing no signs of resting, but when I entered Jyn was up again.

Her laugh and tears were genuine but I finally got through to her, that I'm here. It's been so many years since I read that letter to my father, I didn't fully grasp what they meant. But looking at her I couldn't picture myself not at her side sharing the burden. We will light each other's night sky to find our home because we are certainly bound. After setting the medicine aside on the table I curled up next to her, running my fingers through her hair. Choices to make are definitely our biggest burdens to carry but they are worth the extra weight when you have this. Just don't break my fragile heart Jyn, because I'm afraid your the only one who could fix it.
