He knew until she doesn't promises her life, loyalty and blood to the family, she can't be helped or trusted.

"I'm scared, callen. Your family wants me dead. I'm also scared you might willingly hand me over to Notarios to improve your alliance with them." She admitted her fears.

She raised her brows challenging him to think again. He grinned, "Till everyone knows you belong to me no-one will harm you." He assured her, she fidgeted, he didn't like it.
"Babe, do you want to live?" He suddenly turned a serious question to her, offcourse she wanted to. She wasn't pathetic, she had goals, dreams and people to meet, nope not yet, she can't die.
