This story idea is special to me. The main character, Lake, displays many characteristics of myself: bipolar, transgender, and gay. He is mainly myself with some changes.

A bipolar teen, disclosed to hating himself, is cornered when someone he meets is willing to spend time on him. To keep him safe after he runs away just like all those other times. And somebody to love him through it all.
