In a dramatic and baffling turn of events, two prime suspects in the disappearance of Jacqueline Winsor—Vince Di Stasio and Sergio Russo—have been found dead while in Houston Police custody. I’m here at the Houston Police Department headquarters where officials confirmed that at approximately 2:15 PM today, routine headcounts in the holding cells uncovered the bodies of Vince Di Stasio and Sergio Russo. Both young men were found unresponsive, and initial forensic examinations suggest that they took their own lives under circumstances that remain shrouded in mystery.
According to a senior officer here—Officer James Whitaker—both suspects were being held on serious charges in connection with the disappearance of Jacqueline Winsor.
