Finn is a shy, upperclassman who spends his days inside of his parents mansion, conspiring with his cat, Alex, on how to escape the horrid town he resides in. Penny and her parents decided to move there six months ago after an incident back at their old house. Their daughter decides her high school is too high strung and her classmates are too hotheaded. She decides to follow her interest in Finn because of the rumors she'd heard about his library. In too deep, Penny learns about the problems and reasons why Finn doesn't have friends.
