Lindsey spreads her arms out as her father instructs and fire burns on the outside of her skin. It doesn’t hurt her nor does it burn her. She was fire…
The flames wrapped around her creating a beautiful outfit of flames. The energy began to normalize and only give the appearance of red light flowing on her garments. She looks at Zander with surprise.

LINDSEY: What is this?
ZANDER: Your powers natural armor. The power of fire takes its own course and clothes you. This is what your outfit looks like because of your powers. You can call on it anytime… and it gives you a 10% increase on your powers too.
LINDSEY: Cool. What do I need it for?

ZANDER: What now? Now…we get to work on being a hero. There is something in England itself…the England of before that fell out of the sky when I first arrived.

ZANDER: Yes, I could never go back and get it. I nearly died from the radiation the first time. My incredible healing abilities was the only thing that kept me alive until I reached the beaches of England. I was able to swim my way to France and from there get to here.
LINDSEY: And how am I supposed to get there?
ZANDER: You’re fast…use it. I’ve noticed that you’re much faster than a normal Nirvanian. It is possible that because your genetics are altered by the rather malleable human genome your powers are even greater than that of a full blooded Nirvanian. So, you’re going to run there.
LINDSEY: Seems like it will take a while.
ZANDER: It will. I’ll get in contact with you once you reach the shores of England.

Zander hands her a special ear piece. Lindsey puts it in and smiles at her father. She walks out of the building they were in.

Lindsey looks at the nearby waters. She calculates in her mind where England was. She smiles as she gets the answer in her head. The teacher at New Oxford was very good at his job. She was even better at his math though.

Lindsey takes off running about 125 m.p.h. Earlier in life, when she was much younger, she could only run about that fast. Now her legs felt stronger, as if they wanted to move faster. She pushes herself and calculates in her mind how fast she was going. She was about 300 m.p.h by now.

Somehow, she knew she could just go faster. She felt it in her bones. She pursed her lips and looked at the water ahead with a dangerous look. Her legs were in a blur. She was at 600 m.p.h now. She looked at her feet and laughed as she saw she was running on water.

Steam blew in the air as her heated feet touched the water. Spray which every which way in her speed. She was red flaming blur on the water. She stepped it up one more notch and she was at Mach 1.

Lindsey trips on a rock nearing the beach of England and flips forward. She lands on her feet just as quickly. The woman looks around.

LINDSEY: Yes, sir. Where do I look?
ZANDER: It will be about 2 minutes away at your clocked speed of about Mach 1.
LINDSEY: Alright. Hey, what do I call myself by the way? Heroes have names right?
ZANDER: Um…I guess? I don’t what it is with the earth tradition to name people. But if I were to call you anything…I would call you my Archburner.

ZANDER: Oh…um…GPS kind falls in and out when it comes over England dear. The radiation levels are far too high. If I were to guess from the direction you ran… I’d say Northeast.
ARCHBUNER: On it.
ZANDER: And keep in mind the radiation will shock you at first. But your powers are in unison with the flame itself. The radiation will simply be absorbed by your abilities and it will hurt you no longer.

She runs for about two minutes but does not see anything. She wondered if her father had told her the right thing. She couldn’t stay on the Isle for long…she had to get back to New England, because she had a class to attend in a exactly 14 hours.

Archburner grabs her throat. She chokes and looks into the sky. Everything was turning grey and she falls down. The radiation had finally caught up with her.

Archburner starts to run towards the pod lying in the ground. She stops however as soon she as she feels vibrations under her feet. Her eyes flash with flames quickly and fades. She backflips perfectly.

A giant worm tears out of the ground in front of the pod. Archburner’s mouth drops and she begins to back away.

ARCHBURNER: A mutant worm! I knew there would be a mutant! What do I do?
ZANDER: Well, I’m not there to help you sweetie. So what I need you to do is trust your powers and senses. They won’t fail you at all. Go. Take it down.

Archburner takes in a deep breath. Her eyes lock on the worm. Her hands come down and two whips of flames form in her hands. She snaps them in the air. Confidence burned in her heart. She takes off at the worm.

Archburner swings the whip into the belly of the beast. It screams out shaking the area and knocking her off her balance. It comes out of the ground completely and slides towards her. She leaps into the air and lands on the back of the worm.

She spins the whips very quickly slicing her way down the back of the beast as she walks back. It slings it’s back up throwing her in the air. She comes out of the sky and lands softly. It then swings its back end at her. She flips over it swinging her whips of fire into it as she does so.

She lands on the other side and the flaming whips fade away. She points her hand at the middle of the beast and begins to blow fire from her hands into the beast. It swings itself into the air in a scream.

It’s mouth wide and it launches itself into the air. It comes down on top of Archbuner eating her. It begins to slide back towards it’s hole but stops. It begins to shake and fire blasts from the top of the worm.

Archburner leaps out of the worm with flames flowing from her eyes. She tightents her fist and runs up the head of the worm. She brings her hands in the air and strikes the worm in the top of its head creating a shockwave and rendering it unconscious with her Nirvanian strength.

She then slowly calms down after getting anger from being eaten. She leaps from on top of the beast and walks to the pod.

Archburner takes off at Mach 1. As she does she sees something in front of her. Her eyes are blinded by green light and the light fades away. She sees a boy running in front of her in a city. He is headed towards something and then the image starts to fade.

TROY: Do you know why I ask? Out of everyone here, who really listens, you don’t. All your other teachers say your very attentive in their class but you’re do not pay attention in my class. Yet, you make the best grades in my class, in fact, everyone else is getting C’s and you’re getting a perfect A every time. Are you cheating?
