Bandung

I used to travel to Bandung once a week for visiting my  buddy.

On one of my trips, I met an elderly man with an unusual appearance. He was a chaman to me.

He handed me a book with a picture of Bromo Mountain on it.

"It contains magical spells!" he exclaimed.

"Never read the back of this book before you get home!" he warned.

Why? I inquired of him.

"Pamali, you'll get angry when you read it," the old man predicted.

What is the cost? I inquired of him.

"It contains words that will make you mad at me if you read them before you get home, as well as magic words," he explained. It set you back 500.000 rupiah.

He said it with a smile on his face.

After I paid him, he requested the driver stop at the bus stop.

After 10 minutes, I was curious as to why I couldn't read the back of this book.

So I decided to defy the rule and reintroduce it.

"Price tag: 25.000 rupiah, title of the book: Bromo Mount in History," it says.

Damn!
