The kingdom of Valafor, the kingdom that had shed so much blood fighting the Bright's, have made an offer. An offer of peace. At first the king, King Hadded, thought the humans were just trying to play out of the wrath of the Bright's mighty power. Which they were. But humans are greedy and powerless against the Bright's, which made the offer even more amusing, like they were asking for forgiveness that could not be forgiven so easily.

Fortunately for the humans, King Hadden would accept the offer. The only reason why he would even consider it was because his successful son, Prince Tobias, was killed in combat during the battle of Gate's Keep. The king was horrified when he found out, now only left with one heir to the throne.
