Part II
Not wanting to come to where he was being taken, Shushert escaped from the railway wagon at a next stop on a starry night.
There was a forest nearby and he climbed on a tree to keep warm. Some animals gathered in a circle around the tree.102Please respect copyright.PENANAAQeulrZ3YX
"They must be hares," he thought.102Please respect copyright.PENANAWb5OY0tUpa
But when the animals howled, Shushert didn't want to climb down from the tree. He had to eat bark, one could only dream of beer.

Part III
When the wolves left, they got tired of waiting, Shushert climbed down from the tree. The path led him to the road.
Suddenly a car stopped on the road. A skinhead jumped out of it. And with a cry "For Vasya!" hit him. Shushert rolled into a deep roadside ditch, and the car turned around and drove off towards the city.
When Shushert got out of the ditch he saw the "Vladivostok" city limits sign.
