The creature’s body is like a deformed figure of a basilisk with a fish-like head and gills. It has no eyes and ears, but the book says it's sense of smell is heightened that it can track anything just by a whiff of its scent.

I screamed from the pain as I thrashed from its mouth but it’s body only wrapped around me tightly, squeezing the air from my lungs. I gritted my teeth from the immense pain on my broken rib but I could feel my consciousness slipping away.

These beasts have one weakness. It’s attack mainly comes from its body and it’s keeping its head away every time it attacks. I clutched the dagger hard and stabbed its body over and over. For a moment, it loosened its grip around me but its teeth are still deep in my flesh.
