It was a cold night on the Eastern Front well, everyday is cold on the eastern front. This one in particular was also sad a young tank commander named Otto Shiltz has lost his gunner Eric Heckle who had been the closest friend to him for the past year.
“Hey Shiltz are you okay?”his tank driver named Von asked when he exited the tank
”isn’t it obvious I’m not because I just lost Heckle”
”don’t dwell on it Otto”
”How can I not! I promised him I would get him back to Germany living after we defeated the Soviets not in a fucking coffin and plus we can’t even get all of him since he is all in the turret!”
”come on down Otto I think you need some rest”
Otto stood up and stepped down in his bloodied ss commanders uniform and started walking back to the barracks. Then after a couple of steps a medic walked out and headed towards Otto.
”Mein Herr Hauptmann the field hospital was over flowing so we moved all of the extra patients into the Barracks on the Oberstleutnants orders”
”danke for telling me Unteroffizier, but where will be we staying”
”the Oberstleutnant said to find any of the houses in this town”
”danke Unteroffizier”
”willkommen Hauptmann”
As the Unteroffizier walked back to the barracks Otto went to the nearest house with Von
”Von cant you believe this, and now you can see why this world is a mess no wonder why we are loosing”
Otto and Von entered the building to find almost one half missing.
“Von you take downstairs and I’ll take the upstairs”
”yes Hauptmann”
Otto went up the stairs which was still surprisingly intact to the second floor and went through a door frame to a half bombed out room. The side that wasn’t destroyed had a roof and a bed.
”its better than some other places I slept in”
Otto then walked over then sat and laid on the bed to rest while also using the blankets to keep warm. He then sat there and closed his eyes while looking at the stars with distant sound of war. He then fell asleep.

”Eric traverse the turret right”
after he did Otto heard
” I see the t-34”
”okay then fire!”
”yes sir!” He shouted while firing the shot which destroyed the t-34
“good then turn it left”
”yes sir!”
”come on I’ve seen the Bolsheviks do it faster than you”
”well sir at least we are still alive”
”your right my friend”
When the turret finished turning the other t-34 was aiming towards them and fired. The shell went straight through the armor and straight through Eric exploding him and out the other side to then explode.
———-waking up
Otto woke up with a jolt to his mind To find himself laying on top of a Tiger 1 in the middle of a field that he had never seen before.
”shit what happened”
He then opened the hatch to see not a German soldier but A british soldier knocked out. He pulled out his P-08 from its holster and aimed it at the British soldier and looked inside to see other people. The list includes a Russian, Japanese, and American in locations of which a tank position would be, so he holstered his P-08 to be safe. Then he sat there until the British soldier woke up.
”who the bloody hell are you? Wait! a Bosch!”
“Shhhhh there are other people in there”
The British soldier turned to see the other people.
“Come on out and don’t wake anyone”
The British soldier slowly got out and stepped back from Otto about a couple feet. the British soldier then looked around to see the field too.
”where the hell are we?”
”I don’t know but that post thingy might tell us” Otto said pointing to a pole with something on a piece of paper on it.
”well it seems to be..... Japanese?”
”wait what?”
”yeah that’s Japanese writing”
” let me see” Otto said getting down from the tank to see it”hmm it says ‘electric pole’?”
“What’s that?”
“I don’t know”
”wait first of all how do you know Japanese and second of all why didn’t you kill me”
”first of all I learned it through my tutors and the reason I didn’t blow you brains out in that fine piece of German engineering was because we are both in a weird situation also there the Russian in there.”
after a couple of seconds several groans came from inside. Then some people screaming at each other followed by some rustling. Otto ran up and suck his head inside the hatch.
”hey you idiots before you kill each other get out of there”
”why should follow what a Krout said”
”well first of all your in German tank and also I think we are in Japan”
”and please bloody hell lets not kill each other ” said the British soldier
After a few minutes the 5 boys were outside the tank and took sides.
”first of all comrades how will we dispose of these two” said the Russian
“lets not do that” said the British soldier
”I agree with your British friend” said the Japanese soldier
”how do you know English?” Said the American soldier
”well I have family in California I stayed with for two years” answered the Japanese guy
”gentlemen lets introduce ourselves, so im Hauptmann tank commander Otto Shiltz from the ss 3rd Panzer Division”
”well since I already met mr Otto I’ll introduce myself, so im sergeant tank reloaded Edward fairway from the 1st army tank brigade”
”im next, so im Gocho Tank driver Taichi Kiriyoshi from the IJA 1st tank division”
“Looks like im next, so im sergeant Radio Operator Roland Daniels from the 6th armored division”
”im the final one then, so im сержа́нт tank gunner Ivan Romanov from the 5th gaurds tank army”
”wait that was the tank division we faced in that tank battle” Otto said
”at Kursk?” Ivan replied
”yes and that is where my friend died blown to bits literally by a t-34”
”well im sorry”
”first of bloody all we all have different positions in the tank and we are all young ” said Edward
”first of all we need to find some locals so I and Taichi will find a town down the road and you can stay here with the tank” Otto said
everyone nodded in agreement. Then they moved the tank off the road. Thats when Taichi noticed a sign down the road, so then Taichi and Otto started to walk over to it.
”hmm it says that there is a town that way about 3 km” Otto said
”wait you know Japanese”
”yes I was taught by my tutor”
”well lets start heading there”
”okay komeraden Taichi”
”please just Taichi”
