Busy asking myself "what would've happened if that didn't happen?"

As I wake up to observe each day

I realised that I cannot turn back the hands of time.

But what exactly can I do?

With every no there is a yes,

And with every wrong there is a right,

In good there is evil,

I figured that out pretty well or maybe

That's just part of the knowledge

Engraved in our minds from birth.

As I inflict pain on my physical being

I realised that no pain is greater than neglecting

Your spirituality.

The only reason behind my unhappiness

Is hiding my true self.

Trying to be someone I am not,

Only to fit in with people that will never

Accept me for who I truly am.

Better live in a society without acceptance

Than hide behind a mask for acceptance.
