Our day of the dead is every day,

A constant battle to survive

The death-defying stunts that life tries to throw at us.

Day in, and day out, we die over and over again.

Whether it be our in our faith, love or trust,

Or even in our hearts, minds or souls.

From sunup, to sundown,

We just keep smiling through the pain;

Hoping one day our death won’t be in vain.
