Daya turned to the entrance door as it opened. A warm smile crawled up her lips as Heyt entered the library.
"Hey, Heyt… I don't think I've ever seen you in here before."
The white-haired girl smiled but it disappeared as quickly as it appeared. "Daya."
Daya grabbed a few books from the counter she was behind before walking to a shelf. "So, what can I help you with?" She questioned.
"I'm not here to read, I wanted to talk to you about Eryth."
The dark-haired woman stopped and veered around to face Heyt. "What made you think I know where he is?"
"I noticed he comes into the library often, so I thought maybe he told you something before he took off. Monk Zumma won't say or do anything to help."
Daya's eyes moved to her legs. "He did tell me he was going to search for the Tome of Discordia, I tried to stop him and he got really angry," she revealed. "That was the last time we saw or spoke to each other."
Heyt pushed back her white hair and sighed. "We have to do something, we have to find them… the danger out there is bigger than the two of them."
"Two of them?"
"I believe he's with Grevla."

.
Eryth opened his eyes. He stayed that way for a while before memories of what they had encountered came back to him, causing him to move his hand to his abdomen but there was no injury. "The gods want me dead," he mumbled to himself.
The dark brown-haired man dragged himself up. He put on his shirt and picked up his sword before walking out of the tent. He looked around the place, taking in his environment. The place was completely covered in a very thick mist and the only things he could see were the tent behind him and Grevla who was seated in front of a campfire.
His partner turned to him with an indifferent expression on her face. "You are awake," said Grevla.
The dark brown-haired man walked over to where she was and sat on one of the many boulders around. "How did we get out of that situation?" He asked.
"Nopsis, the god of tomorrow helped."
Eryth nodded. "I see."
"Are you happy?" She questioned. "You've gotten the gods' attention like you wanted, are you satisfied?"
"When I said I want to get their attention, I didn't mean to have them coming after my head."
Grevla tossed a piece of wood into the fire and sighed. "I believe that attack was more than just an attempt to kill you."
"What are you getting at?"
"I perceive hostility between the gods------------- because Odora, the eye of the realm did give us the compass to find the Eternal Library, and then all of a sudden, another servant whom I believe is the sword of the realm, attacked you, this can't be done by the same person."
"What you are saying is the gods are in disagreement with each other."
Grevla nodded. "I fear a war between the gods is close." She tossed another piece of wood into the fire.
The two went silent and a soft murmuring noise filled the air, almost deafening as time went on.
"Where are we anyway? And how'd you get this tent?" Eryth questioned.
"According to Nopsis, this is the forest of the living and this tent I just found here."
Eryth looked around. "This forest seems quite dead to me."
The dark brown-haired man paused for a moment before speaking again. "Don't you think it's owned by someone?" He questioned.
"Possibly," she replied. "But I believe we'll be gone before they return." She tossed another piece of wood into the fire.
Silence swallowed the entire forest once more, but this time, even the soft murmuring noise they were hearing had stopped. "I'm cold," the dark brown-haired man said before inching closer to the fire.
Grevla glanced at the dark mage as he placed his hands in front of the fire. She almost let a smile crawl up her lips as she watched the wind blew back his dark brown hair back.
"Is it just me or is it getting really cold out here." He turned to catch Grevla staring. "What?"
She shook her head and turned to the fire. "It's nothing." She also inched closer to the fire and put her hands in front.
A while later, the wind became extreme and the two had to retreat into the small tent. "I think I'm gonna freeze to death," Eryth groaned as he shivered in his seat.
The grey-haired woman crawled up to him. "I think it's because of the injury you sustained from our earlier encounter. I couldn't completely heal it, so I… blah blah blah…"
"What?" The Rune Act user couldn't catch every word she said.
"Raise your shirt let me try again."
Eryth pulled his shirt up and Grevla put her hands on the spot he was injured. A bright white light appeared around her hands as she chanted some magical words. She finished the healing and looked up at Eryth to see the same exhausted and drained look on his face.
'It's not working?' she thought to herself. 'Is it because of the excessive cold?'
"I feel better, thank you, Grevla." The dark brown-haired man shot her a smile and then turned away while still shivering from the cold.
Grevla bit the inner part of her lips and groaned. 'I am going to regret this, ain't I?"
"Wow, it's so cold in here, do you think this forest of the living has day and night?" Eryth pondered.
The grey-haired lady removed her sword from get belt and set it down. She then unhooked her armour and set it next to her blade.
"Or maybe just any time when it isn't this cold..."
Grevla slid the shirt she had beneath her armour over her head, leaving only the bandage-like clothing that covered her breast.
Noticing the silence, the dark brown-haired man turned his head to see his partner with two less clothing. His brows raised a little as he took in the stature of her body. For some reason, he thought she was going to be packed with muscles, especially the abdominal one, but she seemed just normal with only a flat tummy.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"Take off your shirt," she said, almost demanding.
"Are we going to?…" He drawled.
"Not even in your wildest dreams," she shot him down instantly. "I can channel my light energy and transfer it all over my body, keeping myself warm, but I can't get that heat to the surrounding…" she paused.
"But if we make close body contact, I'm sure the heat could make over you as well."
Eryth was quiet for a while before he replied. "Well, if it means keeping myself warm." He took off his shirt and inched closer to the Dengal daughter.
"So, how do we do this?" The Mage asked.
"Just stay where you are."
Grevla crawled over to where Eryth was and slowly pushed him down before snaking on top of him. She interlocked his fingers with hers and pressed her body to his, such that only their face were apart. "Oh yeah, I can surely feel the heat, but my legs are still cold."
"Don't even think about it, I'm not taking off my leg wear."
"Fine." He sighed.
As they stayed that way for a moment, Eryth started to feel the heat exuding from her body and onto his. The grey-haired lady raised her head to look into his eyes.
"Do you feel it?" She asked softly.
"I sure do."
"Not the heat."
She then leaned in and pressed her lips to his, kissing him passionately.
