Shella opens her eyes and gets up from the ground. She dusted herself off. As she was in the middle of cleaning her clothing from dust she abruptly stopped. Her mouth opens in confusion as she scans the area she was in. An unsettling feeling washes over her as she looks at the landscape in front of her. Nothing was making sense. She had noticed a black sky. Clouds tinted in different shades of copper. Lightning in the distance could be seen dancing across the skies. Everything around her, from trees, foliage, to stones, were all strange off-putting colors. She wonders where exactly she was.
“Where….. where am I? W-what is this?” She had noticed her village in the distance, but it was obvious that something was off. She was in the middle of climbing Aixin Mountain, but somehow, she had no recollection of that. It was as if that entire moment, the journey, the mission, talks about the mountain no longer existed in her mind. She knew something was missing, but she did not know what exactly. She was trying to think hard, trying to think back to the last thing, the last actions and decisions she made. She tries to think of the last thoughts that were on her mind. She could not for the life of her at all recall what she did last and why she was doing it. Absolutely nothing would come to mind. She could not remember if she was sad, angry, hurt, confused, depressed, alone, with someone, traveling, at home, nothing…… Nothing was coming to her mind. All she knew was that she was on the ground with her eyes closed. “Am I….. ?” She shakes her head and quickly dismisses it from her mind, thoughts of her being dead.
“Why am I here?” She says to herself. She took a step forward but still felt hesitant and uneasy about everything. She gulps air down hard as she tries to make sense of why exactly she was laying on the ground in the first place outside her village. “I think I was flying…..?” She wasn’t sure about anything, anything that led her to be in that spot. Shella’s mind was blank. Everything was becoming a blur. But she somehow knew that she was not supposed to be near Ariace village. Somehow something in the back of her mind was telling her that her being there was not right.
She began hearing the rumbling of thunder. She looked up to the sky and saw once again flashes of lightning within the clouds. The flashes of light triggered in her mind short bursts of visions. ¿ ̈s̈ov̈.ë̈l̈eïd iuẗ̈ n̈ẗwos ̈̈r̈̈ü̈ n̈ ̈ ̈h n̈̈ ä̈hs ke ̈ärs rmẗ ẗë ëh ẗ̈̈̈ m̈ rd ö̈ëhmnT̈ün̈ẗ̈̈aä ̈̈̈̈ep̈̈̈̈r̈̈r̈̈sn̈̈ ta ̈hwi¿. However, she could not make out what it was. She shuts her eyes hard and tries to will it away. She places her palms over her eyes and falls to her knees, struggling to keep herself from seeing whatever the visions were. “Just stop! PLEASE!” She tells herself, as if she was begging not to see what she was seeing in her mind. She began saying it repeatedly, ‘just stop’. She wasn’t sure what the visions were about because they were too short, but she knew deep down those things were not supposed to be flashing in her mind.
Shella opens her eyes and peeks at the distance where the village is. She decided to head in that direction. She needed to find her grandfather and ask him what exactly was going on, why she felt so strange and why the world around her was different. As she quickly moved forward at a frantic pace, she could hear a ringing in her ear, and her vision kept going in and out. The ominous sky kept taunting her. The clouds shifted as she frantically jogged across the village. The thunder, roaring across the horizon only increased as she moved past the village homes.
Shella didn’t like any of it. The environment around her was like nothing she had ever seen before. The village itself felt depressing, dark, and eerie. No one, absolutely no one was around. It made her uneasy. Her anxiety started to increase, and her heartbeat kept pounding loudly in her chest. It was so loud that it was almost to the point that she could only hear her own heart. She could no longer hear the thunder in the sky. It was just her heart in her ears along with the insufferable ringing. She gulps hard and covers her ears and closes her eyes, stopping dead in her tracks, thinking that the ringing was coming from an outside source. But it was soon evident to her that it was in her head. She decided to stop covering her ears knowing that it wasn’t going to make the intense noise go away.
As she moved forward heading toward her grandfather's cottage, Shella began hearing something. She turns her head confused and unsure what exactly it was. She scanned the area. But she could only see some small, abandoned houses. It was a strange eerie feeling. She felt chills going down her spin. She was so frightened; her body almost began trembling. All she could think about was finding her grandfather. It was quiet, almost too quiet. Shella was used to constantly isolating herself from others. But this time, she never felt more alone in her entire life.
“Where is everyone? What is happening?”
Shella turns her head immediately in the direction of another sound. She was startled as it invaded her ears and seeped into her mind. This time she knew exactly what it was because it was louder. It was someone whispering. She could tell that it was a voice, a woman’s voice.
“𐍂- ̈̈ ̈T̈-Ölir-ë̈̈ë̈s-ae”-ä...“̈ eim-n"sḧ̈̈ -an.̈̈ofd̈̈ -k.n̈̈̈...”

“What? Who……? Who is talking to me?” Shella immediately noticed Grandfather Kiev’s cottage just a few steps away from her. It was strange to her, the voice she was hearing. It was speaking words of a different language. However, she paid no mind to that. She tried and ignored the voices as best she could. Her frantic jogging soon became frantic running as she ran right through her grandfather’s front door desperate to know what exactly was happening. She knew that her grandfather could help her. As she opened the door as quickly as she could, suddenly the voices stopped. There was no sound to be heard. It felt as if everything was standing still. She looked in front of her and she could see someone just standing there, the person's back facing Shella. Shella’s mouth was now open. She was in shock.
Shella’s heart was pounding but she mustered up enough courage to break the silence. “W-who are you?”

The mysterious person turns around. It was a young woman. At that moment Shella’s vision suddenly becomes blurry. She could hear the young woman’s words clearly. However, it wasn’t a language that Shella had ever heard before in her entire life. But somehow Shella knew exactly what she was saying, even though the language was new to her. “Why is she….. Why is she speaking such a strange language? Wait…. I can….. How is this even possible? I can… understand her. How?” She tried to focus on the mysterious person's face, but her vision was much too blurry to distinguish who exactly it was.
“Mom?” She hasn’t heard her mother's voice in years. It was difficult for her to distinguish if it was her voice. Shella also knew that her mother never spoke a strange language. But for some reason she felt a motherly connection with the woman. Shella could not explain why she felt that way about her.
The young woman giggles gently, innocently, and responds back to Shella.
“𐍂- ̈̈̈ä,̈.̈̈ö̈d,̈aä.o eo ẗ̈ü̈äö̈d̈.̈e. ̈s̈̈I...... ina S̈erd̈n̈̈ o nös̈̈ï̈l̈̈l̈̈̈äp̈̈ẗ̈ND̈wmkkn̈̈lä ̈ ̈e ̈hea al̈.iḧez̈ö̈” P.T.(A)
"No.... No..... " Shella shakes her head. "I do not know who you are." Slowly in that moment Shella’s vision returned to her and she could see the woman a lot better. She didn’t understand why exactly a stranger was standing in the middle of her grandfather’s home.

"I am confused. I was supposed to be….. doing something. I am sure it was important. I-I just do not remember…." Shella places her hand on her head trying to remember, to recall what she was doing. At that very moment she feels something odd on her forehead. She felt something cold and smooth on her forehead, but she didn’t put any more thought into it.
That's when she begins to think about the girl standing in front of her. "Wait a minute...... You are..... You are....." She lifts up her head to look at the mysterious woman in her eyes. Shella observes her body language and could tell she wasn’t a threat. She examined her features and could see now that her eyes were red, and she had a red stone on the center of her forehead. It was strange to Shella because she had never seen anyone look like her before with a stone placed on their forehead. "You are… Rubi." Her voice but a whisper. It was as if the information, her name, snapped right into Shella’s consciousness.
"𐍂- ̈̈ae ̈̈m̈̈̈kZ ï.Är̈̈w.̈.... nr̈̈meẅhbï̈̈̈.aem̈e.̈̈ul̈äẅ̈d” Rubi places a finger under her eye and pretends to wipe a tear from it. “Ts.e.ḧ ̈̈"̈̈..̈t .t is....̈.̈en̈.̈i.̈ö" P.T.(B)
Immediately a flash of light entered Shella’s eyes, and another short vision interrupted Rubi in the middle of explaining something about a stone. ¿ ̈s̈ov̈.ë̈l̈eïd iuẗ̈ n̈ẗwos ̈̈r̈̈ü̈ n̈ ̈ ̈h n̈̈ ä̈hs ke ̈ärs rmẗ ẗë ëh ẗ̈̈̈ m̈ rd ö̈ëhmnT̈ün̈ẗ̈̈aä ̈̈̈̈ep̈̈̈̈r̈̈r̈̈sn̈̈ ta ̈hwi¿
"Did you see that? What is that?” Rubi just looked at Shella all confused, tiling her head. Rubi didn’t respond. “Y-you were saying something…. about a stone? What stone? What about it? The stone, it is… what? ..... are you talking about my Aleeyah stone?” She reached behind her neck to feel the stone, but nothing was there. “Y-you got cut off for a second, I could not hear what you said. "Fight? Why? You better stop it right now! There is no reason to fight. You are just getting on my nerves!" Shella quickly jumped back leaving her grandfather’s cottage. The girl named Rubi confidently walked out of the house. She closed her eyes and quickly opened them back up. Her eyes and the red stone on her forehead glowed brightly. Shella now noticed that the red color of the stone was a lot more intense than before when they were just talking. “We do not have to do this right now! I am trying to find my grandfather.”
The girl Rubi charges at her at full force, ignoring everything Shella had just said. She throws punches and kicks very similar to how Shella would fight, the combat style that her grandfather taught her. Shella immediately recognizes every punch, every kick, every movement of her body. Rubi pushes her back with a light kick to her stomach.
Shella reacts by jumping back and positioning her legs and body in her fighting stance. “W-why do you fight like that? Are you an Aleeyah warrior? Why are you in my grandfather’s house anyways?”
Rubi didn’t respond at all. She just positioned herself in a fight stance. Shella opens her mouth because it was the exact fighting stance that she was doing.
“Stop it! Stop mimicking me. That is not funny.” The girl, Rubi, did not move. She just stared at Shella confidently. Shella got frustrated and ran up to her, giving it everything she had, throwing as many punches as she could. Rubi avoided each one except for the last punch that impacted her face. Rubi gets pushed back a few inches away, as Shella smiles. “Yeah! Got you! Painful huh? You asked for it. Now tell me everything I need to know.”
Rubi just turns her head slowly back in the direction of Shella’s face after the punch. She still had a smile on her face and was confident.
“W-what? I put everything in that punch. You should be in pain right now.”
Rubi closes her eyes. She stretches her arms forward away from her chest and crosses her fingers in front of her, interlocking them. She clasps her hand with her left thumb on top of the other thumb. Rubi breathes deeply, trying to keep herself calm and relaxed.
“Why do you do that?” Shella looked over at her confused.
Rubi finally spoke. "𐍂- b̈̈̈n̈seH ̈mẗl̈tkä̈ë Ï ̈ë̈̈̈aspëbd̈̈̈pem̈̈bec sl̈a ë̈̈l.̈̈ ë.̈̈̈” P.T.(C)

“You have racing thoughts, as well?”
Rubi didn’t say anything, she quickly opened her eyes and rushed forward toward Shella who got ready to defend herself. Rubi throws a punch, but Shella evades it easily then Rubi shifts her footing catching Shella off guard. Rubi punches Shella three times in her chest, spins around and kicks her with everything she had, sending Shella flying back and landing on the ground.
“𐍂- ẗbḧote ̈uäë̈̈uŸs!̈̈̈trnp̈̈Gr̈ ̈ ̈ëï'! ̈tḧ̈̈̈ ̈të" P.T.(C)
“THIS IS POINTLESS! Why are we fighting!?” Shella gets herself up from the ground as Rubi approaches her and throws a few more kicks. Shella evades all her kicks and grabs the last one that was just about to connect with her face. Shella grits her teeth and pushes Rubi back forcing her body to be off balanced. As she was about to form a fist and punch with her hand, her entire hand began glowing red. A powerful red energy was starting to take shape in her hand. She shifts her body forward and punches Rubi with everything she has. The glowing red light in her fist burst with so much energy, the blow pushed Rubi back several feet. Rubi collapses to the ground due to the intensity of the blow but quickly gets herself back up. She dusts herself off. She was breathing hard now but soon composed herself.
“𐍂- .̈.̈̈n̈̈ḧr sẗëëm̈̈nreÏ̈m̈lon̈̈s̈ïë sti ̈̈̈.üï̈̈̈e d̈v̈ör̈̈eẗrë̈ ̈eS̈̈p̈̈s̈lÏ ̈̈ä̈,B̈̈ ̈ḧs uampi eẄa" P.T.(C)
“What does she mean by ‘we are one in the same’? I do not get it.” Shella pulls her fist back slowly and notices the glowing of her hand. She turns her fist around and opens her hand. She was confused and not sure what to think of the strange red energy. She raised both her hands and looked at her palms. She wondered if she could make her other hand glow red as well.
A flash of light suddenly appeared out of nowhere and her palms for just a split second looked like they were covered in blood. Shella’s eyes widened. She could not believe what she was seeing. She looked up at the strange sky and noticed giant eyeballs appearing from amongst the dense dark shadowy clouds. She couldn’t make sense of anything. She looked toward Rubi who was staring at her confidently. Shella looked at her frightened wondering if Rubi was doing all that. “Blood and strange eyes in the sky. I-Is she seeing all this? Is she seeing what I am seeing?”
Almost immediately, Shella noticed words floating around the young girl named Rubi. She had never seen such a language in her life, yet she felt like she could read each word. ¿ ̈s̈ov̈.ë̈l̈eïd iuẗ̈ n̈ẗwos ̈̈r̈̈ü̈ n̈ ̈ ̈h n̈̈ ä̈hs ke ̈ärs rmẗ ẗë ëh ẗ̈̈̈ m̈ rd ö̈ëhmnT̈ün̈ẗ̈̈aä ̈̈̈̈ep̈̈̈̈r̈̈r̈̈sn̈̈ ta ̈hwi¿ However, she had no time to focus on it because everything was happening so quickly.
Her heart begins to pound wildly in her chest as she immediately feels the sensation of vomiting. She violently begins to cough. She couldn’t stop. Right after, she noticed she was coughing up blood. Drops of blood kept falling, splattering onto the floor each time she coughed. Shella quickly looked down at her palms again and just as quickly as it appeared the blood was gone. She examines her hands but not a drop of blood was there and to her amazement not a single drop could be found on the ground where all her blood fell.
At that moment, thunder begins to roar in the sky and Shella right away tries to block the noise in her ears. Blinding white lights began to flash in her mind. It disoriented her to the point where she fell to her knees from the powerful noise and the sudden visions that were flashing in her mind again. ¿ ̈s̈ov̈.ë̈l̈eïd iuẗ̈ n̈ẗwos ̈̈r̈̈ü̈ n̈ ̈ ̈h n̈̈ ä̈hs ke ̈ärs rmẗ ẗë ëh ẗ̈̈̈ m̈ rd ö̈ëhmnT̈ün̈ẗ̈̈aä ̈̈̈̈ep̈̈̈̈r̈̈r̈̈sn̈̈ ta ̈hwi¿. “Ahhhhhh! Stoooop!! T-that ringing, that noise again, it is too much!” Shella was freaking out. The strange short visions flashed in her mind repeatedly and the ringing in her ear was back. Her head felt an intense pressure. She could feel her head throbbing from the pressure alone. She started breathing hard and her heart was racing. She started feeling an extremely powerful headache. She grits her teeth, shaking her head trying her best to withstand the pain. Her vision was blurring up again and she tried her best to keep her eyes open. She made an attempt to look up at Rubi, who was just standing there, but the pain she felt in her head was too intense. She shuts her eyes hard, gritting her teeth, and holds her head tightly in pain in a fetal position on the ground.
