It was huge and tidy, four poster beds with curtains lined the sides, with a desk and cupboard on the side. The girls felt at home and after huge fights for the beds, they unpacked their bags and ran to the dining room. Esme, who none wanted to care for her, was left alone in the dorm, didn’t knowing what to do. Therefore, she was late for dinner and got a huge scolding from Miss Venus. “Sorry, miss. I got lost track of time.” Esme replied. “Fine. I will tolerate this for the first time. But this kind of behaviour will not be acceptable no matter what for you are! Be sensible!” Esme went to the table and started to eat. How delicious! The dinner was scrumptious, with a huge mouthwatering chocolate cake, fresh salad, packed with juicy tomatoes and sweet corn, along with ribs and mashed potatoes followed with some gravy, washed down by huge jugs of lemonade. The sleeping bell rang, and first formers were shooed into their dorms. Not long, the mistresses were patrolling the corridors and tell them to let the lights out. Though the girls were all sleepy, they insisted on chattering with each other, which made Miss Venus storm in the room. Then all was silence apart from slight snores.
